I was unfortunately in a Turners yesterday and while waiting forever to get everything done, I was able to get my hands on a Staccato P4 (I believe). Im impressed.

Ive never cared for 1911’s ever since I had my last one about 10 years ago and never handled a 2011. I don't care for any kind of safety. But this model fit nicely, I believe it was the P4 4” full size grip. WOW.

I like it only has a thumb safety (no grip safety) but what really stood out was the trigger and how smooth that slide is.

Now Im looking at the P4 and C4X

I really wish I could try one out. Maybe one day Ill meet someone shooting one at Rainbow gun club 😆

True on both counts but my Glock is pretty darn close - actually 2 of them are. One is comped and 1 is ported and for the tiny extra amount of felt (9mm) recoil I’m happy with them. As for the P4 or P Duo - I wouldn’t EDC a brick like the Staccato anyway. I find myself wearing a CC9 most days.

All this is just opinion though…I’m just sayin the OP should go shoot the gun before he drops $Thousands . I’m certainly glad I did.

I'm thinking about either a Master Ghenghis Komp type setup on the cheaper side ($500 ish with DLC) or just call balls to the wall and do an comped Island Barrel conversion with DSC ($1600). I picked up the used P4 for a great price so I have more wiggle room for the project.
