Obscura Sling Bag

Pic? No as I posted it fits a full size handgun with extended mag plus a spare mag
I also sold this on gafs. Seems like it is discontinued item, but it was a quick sell. Here are thr pics from web. It's about same size as Obscura 5, but lot less bulky, and most people will see the brand kelty on bag, and won't think much of it.

The difference is you’re not ever going to draw under pressure with that bag.

Nice that doesn't look so bad. Looks like a pretty ideal day bag.
I wore it around at the gym then walking around and shopped in a couple stores, felt basically like wearing a backpack but on the front, it was comfortable. The strap is super well made, overall the construction and stitching is very impressive especially for the price. I'm surprised it isn't more

Looks like a sweet bag. Interestingly this product also came up organically in my offline group chat recently, and I’m sold on it. Whatever marketing the savior is employing is working.

Apparently the 5L bag is 2lbs empty which seems like a lot, but it also looks to be very high quality.

With my PDP compact, 2 15 round mags loaded, wallet, keys, airpods, airtag it was heavy enough to be noticeable but not even close to being uncomfortably heavy. The weight makes sense because the material is super nice and strong, everything is double or triple stitched. I am kinda shocked because we are just so used to mass produced slop products now the fit and finish blew me away

They're a SoCal based company that puts out really quality bags for storage, range, and competition use.

Their prices are pretty fair, in my opinion, as a result. They also provide the bags as a white label service for some brands like I think the bags that come with Staccato's or other such higher end guns.

And a military discount too, and the most tehcnically advanced bag I'm super stoked. They liked my IG posts lol but didn't do well compared to my racing content. There's good overlap with moto and gun people but not 100% at all

If you're gun is in a bag, and you are under pressure, nothing is faster than just shooting through the bag. No draw needed, no specific bag needed.

Oh and it has not been discontinued it seems. It was discontinued when I owned it, maybe current state of 2A in USA made them change that decision.

What kind of 💩ty, negligent setup lets you access the trigger of a secured firearm?

You never seen nylon holsters? No 💩ty setup. What kind of 💩ty shooter you have to be that you can't control your gun or trigger finger? Does a gun have to be in a lvl 9000 holster to make you feel safe?

I have. Nylon holsters are universally garbage and a gun in a bag that’s loaded with the trigger exposed is negligent.

Negligent to who? If you have others access to a bag with a gun, that's even more negligent.

Do you know the difference between on-body carry and off-body carry? Off-body carry is whatever bag you put your gun in is the holster.
Where do you think the gun goes on a on-body carry?

There is no universe where having a loaded gun with an exposed trigger in a bag is safe.

It’s in a nylon bag. It’s not rigid and while it’s unlikely it’s not impossible that the bag is manipulated in a way that allows the trigger to be pulled.

There are zero reasons to be advocating for such a setup given there are alternatives

Control your equipment.

Use a gun with an active safety. My use of my equipment should have no bearing onto others, as others wouldn't know what equipment I'd have to begin with.
