More spam is not what's needed or helpful. Better to point people to resources that provide meaningful updates and/or high quality analysis rather than treating everything as if the sky is falling. It's not greedy to charge what the market will bear. Supply and demand. I don't pay $1k for an off roster Glock because it's not worth it to me personally. This convo has been had 100 times already on here. There are at least a ton of good on roster options now to where you never need to pay off roster unless you really want to. Just buy a Walther PDP

Unfortunately, CA legislation will end up blocking it / drawing it out.

The real problem is all the reasonable gun owners in CA who should be advocating for common sense gun laws are too busy "working" (on forums and reddit complaining about CA gun laws).

They can't "block" a supreme court ruling, your comment doesn't make any sense. The logical end goal is this case gets appealed up to the supreme court and they side with gun owners. It's kind of inevitable. The only thing that might happen is if Democrats regain control they might withdraw the lawsuit since they hate guns. Either that or the Supreme Court changes a lot before the potential hearing. Or Supreme Court doesn't take the case, maybe.

Ok but the way the world works is I'm going to procrastinate in buying the only on-roster pistol I want and then Springfield will discontinue the model immediately after the roster falls.

I think what I'm looking for is gaslighting and permission to go buy a pistol I probably don't need, to shoot a long obsolete division in USPSA.

Some sellers are greedy, but not all. I've bought from this site twice at fair prices. That said, some listings are nearly double MSRP. That's exactly why many of us hope the handgun roster eventually goes away and the market becomes more competitive.

Calguns seems to have better deals when I have money to spend. Deals come up here when I don’t have the funds. I scored a P-01 for $650 on Calguns and just grabbed a CZ75 Kadet kit (.22 lr conversion) for half of what I’ve seen elsewhere. One now off roster and the other discontinued .

Deals are few and far between but they are there. People don’t sell items to make as little as possible or some ideological principle. They sell to make as much as they can. I’m not sure why that is baffling to people.

this is exactly why we must remove all these California politicians instead of filing these meaningless lawsuits that go nowhere for forever (shrugs). the fact that MOST cannot grasp this endless game that has been going on for decades is strange to me, even as they are still hoping years later. comical.

he's sloppy, lives on the hype, and doesn't correct himself when he blows past the facts. He creates as much confusion as he does inform - that maths out to zero value.

General CA gun news? Probably start with Reno May. The same May in May V Bonta and a decently skilled competitive shooter as well at this point as a M in USPSA LO. YouTube isn’t his primary job or revenue stream, so his biases and clickbaiting is much less.

Specific to legal topics/rulings that impact things on our end maybe “CA Gun Law News and Updates”.

Reno may. Thats it. The rest of the YouTube people are trash. You can look to fudd busters as he is an actual layer, that has written laws that passed, sued the government, and is generally F- all these s. But he is not CA specific, more general laws and cases.
