Haven't seen another Smith & Wesson 1911TA for years; always people come & ask everytime I took it to the range, I do like the serrations & patterns of this 1911 however my dream 1911 is still the Springfield Armory TRP full rail.

Springfield TRP Operator Full Rail and an off-roster 4" EMP pre-Ronin. TRP's currently away to Nighthawk for a Smoked Ntride Finish, Gold Bead Front Sight, Ejector Swap, and a few other services.

Next immediate 1911 Goal Post is finding a nice Les Baer for PPT since I just LOVE their slide serrations the most out of any 1911 brand.

This was built by Richard Heinie on a Springfield Armory Government Model 1911 with an aluminum frame (RH4XX). It has his Tactical Carry Package. It's an interesting build since it has two barrels. One is 9mm. The other is .38 Super/9x23 Winchester. I bought this used back in 2014. I have another Heinie built on a Colt Series 70 that's older and in .45 acp. It was built for me (RH1XX). I was on his waiting list for several years before sending it to him, and then several years before I got it back from him. The two look very much alike. I don't shoot them much any more, but they're definitely my treasures.

My Springfield from the early 1990’s. San Diego gunsmith, Mike Bay did the 30lpi checkering, Terry Tussy did everything else, parts are Ed Brown, grips are cocobolo made by Esmeralda

Yes, it’s a pretend 1911.. but it is still so beautiful and fun to shoot!!

My two semi Gucci 1911’s. OSight SE (have mercy) on TRP was originally intended as a placeholder until the new EPS/AEMS stuff from Shot Show ‘26 come out but they just don’t exist in stores yet.

It's so Tactical they put it right on the side in all caps! . The name is kind of hilarious when you really think about it...

Two things I was planning for didn’t happen : Holosun stocking their new AEMS/EPS stuff quickly, and the SE dying by the time the Holosun stuff arrives. I put ~1730 rounds through the TRP with that thing on and it hasn’t died somehow.
