been carrying 12 years with one in the chamber with safety off if that gun had one which usually do not. My HD pistol/9mm PCC one in the tube too and no safety. Kids long gone and having one in the chamber ready to go is one less thing to worry about in a stressful situation. It happens quick!

Reading through almost 10 pages of new posts since I last looked at this thread, something occurred to me.

How do revolvers fit into or affect the chambered or not debate?

If all cylinders are loaded on a DA/SA revolver that is effectively chambered carry. But no one argues those should be carried with an empty cylinder. Yet, when it comes to semiautos there seems to be a raging debate.

I don’t get it.
