Would this be a sitiuation where the buyer and myself arrive at the FFL for just paper work or is there anything special that needs to be done due to the off roster nature of the gun?Yes is correct. PPT still needs to be done via FFL unless it’s direct relative such as father-son-grandfather etc.
Just go in like normalWould this be a sitiuation where the buyer and myself arrive at the FFL for just paper work or is there anything special that needs to be done due to the off roster nature of the gun?
Turner's does off-roster all the time... eventually. Their paperwork process is about the slowest known to mankind at many locations. Most FFL’s are ok with that. You can’t sell with magazine over 10rds.
Don’t go to Turner or Sportman. The corporate shops won’t deal with off roster.
There is 47.19 fee. Some shops charge extra but they aren’t supposed to.
10 day hold for the buyer as well as proper documentation. FSC card, CA ID and proof of residency for buyer.
As seller you just need ID.
Maybe depends on your Turner's, but I bought and sold multiple off roster at different locations. Only location I'd consider going to locally is the one in Lake Forest, but not sure what part of the state you're inMost FFL’s are ok with that. You can’t sell with magazine over 10rds.

Really helpful thanks, the magazines I have for it are fixed to 10rds but technically have higher capacity than that. Would I not be able to include these with the gun? Most FFL’s are ok with that. You can’t sell with magazine over 10rds.

Depends on the FFL. If they are pinned/riveted likely won't have a problem. If they are blocked internally, may be iffy. This is a place where a big corporate store like Turner's would be more cautious and likely not allowReally helpful thanks, the magazines I have for it are fixed to 10rds but technically have higher capacity than that. Best advice I have is any “accessories” can be taken care of without the FFL’s presence.Really helpful thanks, the magazines I have for it are fixed to 10rds but technically have higher capacity than that. Would I not be able to include these with the gun?
This. Just put them in a paper bag, hand to buyer “here are your accessories” and don’t involve the FFL.Best advice I have is any “accessories” can be taken care of without the FFL’s presence.
