Going to dinner, going to a park, playing pickleball, playing tennis, watching a movie are some examples of hanging out with your wife. Following her around while she mindlessly and indecisively roams a Macy's, an Ulta, or Sephora for hours is not hanging out imho.
 
My wife likes to come with me to the shooting club and take videos or help me lol. Same thing when I was racing full time, she would always help out at the track
 
You can buy antiques these days often for what the wood itself is worth and nothing more. I make my own furniture so I know the price of wood. If I were furnishing a house, buying antiques in the style you like is the way I would go. Prices have never been better. Heck, sometimes I’ve considered buying an antique just to get some amazing wood and make new pieces of furniture from it.
 
Love hanging out with my wife. She's the best. She's just not that into material things, except for the furniture in our home, or the things hanging on our walls. She's trying to get me to take down my Fallout flags. I gave her the choice between the New California Republic flag, or the Commonwealth Minutemen banner.

As a former (but still licensed) rider myself, riding pillion is probably far scarier than riding on one's own. I no longer ride, but I could never even get her to ride pillion. She's SUPER risk-averse, like most women but dialed up to 11.
