Announcement Roster Week!

I don’t have all the information, but my understanding is that Shadow has lost interest in pursuing future investments in California.

If Shadow Systems had made a basic $600-$650 model, they would have sold. Don't need fluted barrels, magwells and intricate slide serrations.

They were in that too high end for most and not high end enough for the rest spot.

I agree with you but they don't even sell the cheap models at all anymore, those elements are their entire thing. everything they have is 1000+

Didn’t shadow systems already try this with their Foundation series (now LE series) and people hated on it because of the exact reasons you want it now.

Now to be facetious and sarcastic, that’s like asking Sig to make a $800 model of their p365 AXG Legion 🤣

No it would be like asking sig to make a regular p365, which they do

SS are better than glocks. I have a few of both

I do not recall seeing any Shadow Systems guns in california for $600-$650. Correct me if im wrong.

For the price shadow systems demands (twice that of a Glock), I sure hope they are better lol. It would be quite sad if their fully tricked out and bougie Glock clones were that expensive and yet somehow worse than a stock Glock...

If someone wanted to get a regular Glock instead of an upgraded Glock. They would buy… a Glock… because it’s…a Glock..

The whole idea behind Shadow system was for an upgraded Glock that you can just buy. It’s for those who don’t want to spend the time or energy to upgrade on their own Glock to have magwell, textured grip, gas pedal and OR. That’s it.

But are they better than any other striker fired gun? Because they are more expensive than basically any other striker fired gun including HKs which is insane

Personally i think they are the best form of a Glock. It has everything you would want done to a Glock and is done from factory with a warranty. I've had zero issues with mine.

Best for you comes down to what fits your hand best and what you shoot best. There is no #1 best striker fire i can shoot them all the same but i prefer SS.

So think about it like this a glock was $650 in my area bout add stipple $150 + thumb gas pedal stipple $50 + magwell $50 + rmr cut $150 + slide cuts + $50 all with a warranty + a beaver tail and undercut $50

SS pricing would be more justified if they come with the dual sear trigger they announced during show shot and was supposed to be out in Q2. I find it inexcusable for a $1000 Glock to have the same horrendous trigger. If SS guns are supposed to have all the upgrades you'd do on a Glock anyways then they missed the mark with the trigger. My MR920 is ready for that new trigger and hopefully it's not as expensive as the TriggerTech Ace.

triggers are relative to use case. Most people should not have a 2LB trigger not just that but Glock triggers are easy to master. I dont think they are bad just has a learning curve. Once you master them all triggers are easy. Besides the Hellcat no fukin clue what Springfield was thinking there

SS are glonk clones that are priced like HK's without HK's reputation for durability/reliability. The SS subreddit might be the funniest firearm oem subreddit i've ever seen as a result.

There's a certain amount of "what's right for you" but many things about the Glock platform and sensequently shadow systems that are objectivrly worse than other guns, namely trigger abd grip fit modularity. Glock is a poor example because they have no grip so you gotta stipple or put sandpaper. You gotta upgrade the trigger and it's still crap. Their optic cut sucks or doesn't even exist etc.

Idk i run my Glocks with stock triggers and can win comps here and there. TBF every pistol out there is missing something or can be upgraded in some manner. Its like ice cream its just flavors pick the one that you like and run it
