Quite rare to see Smith & Wesson 1911s in CA, why? off roster+external extractor? I do like my 1911TA, believe this model got discontinued years ago, S&W keeps the stainless steel one.

Here’s my S&W Model 27-2 (3.5” barrel) in the heavily coveted “Triple T” configuration and in its original presentation box. I’ve never shot it. The dude I bought it from got it from his father who was the original owner. Neither have ever shot it. I would say this is a slim chance of reality but looking at it……if it was in fact used, it doesn’t show. It’s in perfect condition with little to no discernible drag line on the cylinder.

*28-2 4” barrel (beater. I think it fell out of a moving car. Still shoots great tho)
