SSE FIREARMS

WE ain't the ones to create a thread trying to tell people what they are doing was wrong and illegal despite not knowing the compliance gun laws in regards to SSE.

And getting semi auto via pawn shop existed before Covid on the L sit3. Everyone paying premium for "semi" are deep pocketed regarded people.
That’s why the doj stated the conversion of a sse would be a violation of penal code 32000a via uppers gas block or mag insertions etc. and as for the pawn shop bs I would not rely on them to know gun laws they risk their ffl just to say they haven’t gone after people is a conundrum because they still can they stated and your leaving a paper trail on their “non regristration” paperwork lol they hardly know guns. I’m def not deep pocketed as a fact saving and buying a semi will save me money in the possibility of fighting a court case.
Just like the whole pistol brace bs
Just be smart is all I’m saying and take it into consideration.
I’d buy a sse only on roster because at least you have the approval to back it up. And juggernaut tactical 9mm pistol is the best option being its runs the way it does just have a mag insert block. Removing that is not manufacturing but changing the way a gun fires is. Just like converting a semi into full auto. Just because some people have them legally doesn’t intend a grey area saying everyone can

Or how about frt since a lot of states have them and they are legal how come shops don’t sell them here or ship them
The part it self is legal until implemented or even magazines or now any gun part alone can’t be shipped to you. But there legal everywhere else. It’s just dumb for people to think they’re “getting away with it”
At the end of the day you leave a paper trail during transfer. Was one time a single shot now it’s semi. That’s why shops won’t even swap an upper for you for your sse ar sure they’ll sell you the upper and tell you do it at home. Everytime I sold a semi auto rare gun in Cali shops check the paper work before to see if it was semi or single and a gun shop that cares about there licenses usually won’t do it.
Example a 2azone upland they sell sse and build them I’m sure they’ll won’t transfer as semi
A pawn shop might care about the license but the rest of the shop will continue as a pawn shop if they had an issue

This is the problem.

FRT, converting SSE’s are not illegal according to the law. What we have is unelected and anonymous bureaucrats opining on legislation. Constitutionally, (state constitution) laws need to be written by the legislature. This is not that. This is some government employee legislation by fiat.

Kafka’s “the trial” was prophetic.

Perception of a “loophole” or “workaround” is what a criminal does to get away with something.

Perception of “compliant” is what a responsible citizen does to be sure they are fallowing the law.

I’m not sure if you do not have the capacity to understand the differences in public perception but you are going to have to just trust me on this. We want public perception to be that we are fallowing the law.

When a president you don’t like reduced his taxes he used a “tax loophole” but when a president you do like did the same thing he “complied with the tax code”. How could you have missed this?

I just realized, you just argue about anything. Bye.
Gun rosters are on shakey ground post Bruen. Boland vs Bonta has proven that with microstamping getting enjoined. Closing SSE would put the precariousness of it in further legal question. If you've been watching all the drama over the Benson mag ban case out of DC, you would know that all the gun grabbers are shoring up every case with amicus briefs because the Bruen test is finally becoming somewhat entrenched in jurisprudence. Courts outside of the 9th Circuit don't generally tolerate outright gun bans, but like with any product, they will tolerate extra paperwork and procedural workarounds if they aren't overly burdensome. Paying extra money and barrel swapping likely doesn't give rise to standing for undue burden, which is exactly where the State of California derives its power: keeping things in the gray, its population fearful, and yet a pressure release valve so they can say that there are exceptions to the roster so technically it's not a ban. If SSE leaves the gray area and it becomes a litigated issue with a final judgement, it could be a MASSIVE case either for us or against us. California doesn't want something like that to wind up in front of a red county circuit judge, or likely ANY judge.
I've already explained this to you. You're getting blocked now.
LOL. Bad information has a way of making lasting impressions and deepening negative outlooks that good news and information don't. Let the man come to his own conclusions, but @five.five-six, please don't put everything on blast all over the place saying SSE is done for. It's not. Let it wander and percolate its own way to whatever eventuality it might reach. In fact, I encourage you to reach out to 2A Zone and order yourself a Platypus. Keep the $200 sled if you're paranoid about reselling it.

Why are people putting it out there that it’s “legal” to convert and transfer a gun that was either sse or single shot on roster guns into a semi auto and saying it will be dros as semi? Cmon guys let’s not be dummies nor spreading the wrong info. If you want a semi buy a semi. If you don’t worry about the risk run it semi and sell the parts separate if you are selling. Don’t risk your self on leaving that paper trail.
JUST A RANT!! Feel free to chime in
(All you legal to dros as semi Guys )
Or I’d like to hear from any ffl that is pushing this.
If that was the case then how come shops building sse don’t just sell them as semi?? Lmao
All I’m saying is don’t leave a paper trail for converting. Be smart and stay dangerous

Ok

you have a semi that was converted from a single shot with a paper trail of you doing so.
The transfer thru a ffl states it was once a single shot now it’s semi and you have you and your wife’s name lol. Not to smart
I don’t like the grey area bs if they have written “restrictions” then they can prosecute. It’s like ccw here we must comply with licensing just because many states have constitutional carry doesn’t mean it’s a grey area and we can too. The have not law but regulations that’s why both are just a misdemeanor. But hey do as you please. Some people never get a ccw and carry because it’s a matter of life or death out ways a year in jail. Buying a single shot isn’t imo. If they can they possible will and I don’t like possibility’s.

I once met a guy in California that had full auto firearms because he and his family had lived here the whole time they are grandfathered in since they had them when it was legal to do so. Just because they have legal full lot of firearms does not constitute a great area for everyone to have them.
Another recent example is that guy who got busted for having a full automatic in his house. Sure they didn’t end up charging him as it went all the way to the Supreme Court. But that was specifically applied to him only not creating a difference in law. And guarantee you they did not give him his fully automatic firearm back for his household only. That would be grey area right?? Lmao

Or how about the cop that was charged sure he wasent being looked at at the time until his “buddy” ratted on him. That’s all it takes fellas is for someone to open there big mouth similar to swatting calls
They WILL come and do what they do and figure it out in the courts

Fear, uncertainty, and doubt. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were pushing an agenda here . . .

Sorry if I let that impression, I didn't say it was over.I was just kind of describing my prescription of what the pitfalls are... I'm actually pretty seriously considering an SSE. I think for the gun community, I would probably be the best case scenario for a test case. However, for my family who my first responsibility is, I think it would be unduly burdensome.

Fear, uncertainty, and doubt. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were pushing an agenda here . . .
Yeah the agenda is be smart and don’t leave a paper trail for your name and manufacturing. The buyer won’t have the issue since he didn’t know but the previous owner who bought it as sse and then transferred as semi would be liable. And the ffl for not checking paper work or changing paperwork.
I’d never buy a single shot nd convert and sell that’s retarded and running a risk personally don’t like uncertainty and don’t want to be a case subject. All do as pleased just something to take into consideration

Just like drug dealers who ship packs they don’t prosecute on the first pack they let it slide to build the case and charge for 10x of just one. Individual charges means more time in jail. They won’t go after a person for a possibility and just for 6 months they want a certainty too. If you did 10 of them that’s intent of manufacture and all the bs

It's all legal, until you get charged.
That's a fair point, and one I won't dispute that's the pathway for a lot of these cases. I don't even know if SSE is something on Everytown's radar. The government is filled to the brim with idiots, and what they're after are the "sexy" wins like AB 1263, or the Glock ban, or an AWB. There's NOTHING sexy about spinning up a bill to gut SSE for pistols that likely never wind up at a crime scene. Custom and high ticket guns almost never wind up in a crime. The government is so stupid and insulated from the vagueness of SSE that we continue to write essays about, that they likely just leave SSE enforcement almost completely up to actual rank and file Cal DoJ employees to enforce and push out guidance for.

It’s not about spinning up a bill to block as they can’t that’s violation of 2a but states have the power to enforce bans and regulations with a misdemeanor just like carrying ccw with the gov approval and tax ok but no pay to play equals 6 months jail misdemeanor.

I'm having trouble finding a single prosecution for violation of PC 32000a for converting an SSE to semi. Can you point me in the right direction?

I think it's like 922R, there haven't been any yet....yet

But just like "falsifying business records to influence a federal election" there can always be a first.

Just because they haven’t doesn’t mean they can’t that’s why it’s inplace
just cause someone carrys ccw with no permit hasent been to jail doesnt mean they cant. just havent been caught
This is just a rant not factual
If this was true all ffl shops would be ok doing it and if they don’t it’s because it’s a “grey” area and don’t want the risk either

So it's your belief that the CADOJ, in possession of all of the paper trails you're in here warning about, wouldn't have already prosecuted someone for converting an SSE to semi if they actually believed they have a legal leg to stand on?

😪 I’m confused on what the argument is…someone help me I’m slow
People can't leave well enough alone after reading simple and easy to follow things that have been listed. They continue to drown in their own sense of paranoia. I have yet to see ANYONE come up with a point by point counter to the "list" I made. I feel like we're getting trolled by Everytown or the Cal DoJ.

Yeah, his buddy ratted him out, but he was stupid because he had a standard capacity magazine on a fixed magazine setup.
