THE MOST God awful sight removal turns into some spending.

I feel your pain, it took me days to replace my ak sight I had no tools

I sent it off for an rmrcc cut.
I went RMSc on mine. Very happy.

How come I can't update the OP?
There's a restriction... for time 4 days... so threads stay alive.. Unless you're a contributor (free) content...

I just added it to your account. You don't flame and add genuine original content...

No, it extends the time. But i did add on the unlimited edit access as a contributor. Thanks for your participation and patience with everything.

The original Springfield XD was notorious for having sights that were impossible to shift in the dovetail. Had a friend who worked at Airgas who learned to put liquid nitrogen on them and then shatter them with a hammer/punch. Rather sad that this level of extreme would be necessary.
I have the 10mm XDM-Elite, and those original sights only came off when using the MGW Sight Pro with the XD shoe adapter.

They were really in there, but I got the sights out on both of mine without any damage. XD's have been the toughest sights for me so far.

BTW, forgot to mention, you have some legacy features grandfathered in for being an early adopter. Anyone with the mini badges like yours has them. We don't give them out anymore since they were manual.

Folks like yourself helped support the site and myself, when we were struggling

Got the Prime. Was that always there?

No that’s relatively new. Main feature for prime is Keyword alerts.

If you have our mobile app, you can push or email. And increased limits.

Thank you for re-upping

I 100% agree with you on Springfield Sights being extra stubborn. I've replaced a few for my cops and myself. But looking at the OP's Rock Island sight brings stubborn sights to a whole new level. OP's Rock Island Sights look almost like they are welded in.

If I ever have a situation like that start to develop, then it's time for my 400 mile drive to SoCal to meet up with Randall
