The WILL SHIP PARTS, ACCESSORIES, TOOLS Directly to Californians Mega-list (hopefully)

Mischief Machine is apparently shipping to California despite what their website says. I received one order so I placed another to see if the first was a fluke. The post office just picked up my second order from them and it should be here next Wednesday.
My advice is to take advantage of this quickly before they figure out what's going on. 😁

I have a question. Does this law apply to shipping parts to California if you buy them from a marketplace in a forum? Like if I wanted to buy a few parts for a CZ from a person not a business that lives in another state can they ship them directly to me?

As for everything other than barrels, the law only applies to businesses in the firearms industry, so an individual can ship directly to you without needing to verify your age and address or have you sign the assault weapon acknowledgment. Barrels shipped into CA (and any other transfer of barrels inside the state) must go through an FFL.

It’s also worth noting that the parts/accessories law regulates the conduct of the seller, not the buyer, so you are free to buy from anyone that’s willing to ship to you. It’s on them to jump through the state’s hoops or not.

Thank you for the info.
