Thinking of selling the Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp. What would you recommend as a replacement?

Everyone’s case is different.
Definitely wouldn’t take bg2.0 on the hike , I was always taking P-01. But for a morning jog, or gym I rather have something small and light.
How do you carry your P-01? Ever have any rust issues with sweat?

I appendix carried mine for one IDPA match without an undershirt and there was a tiny bit of surface rust on the rear sight the next morning. Admittedly I’m a Glock guy and don’t wipe anything down or clean, just throw in safe.

Well, the obvious answer is Walther PDP Compact (lol). But that is a true compact, it's not a tiny or small gun, more like medium sized, very close to a Glock 19. You already have a P365 though so why get another micro gun like the Shield? If you can find a P2000SK or P30SK they are amazing too

edit: stop laugh reacting the best compact smh lolol
Pdp has my vote. Im a pretty thin person lol. I manage not to print when I carry my pdp (tho it does take more work). If you don't mind .380, id look for a cheetah. (Or since I like walther so much, I found a pd380 and love it. Accurate at 20 yards)

Eventually I hope we have flairs. Gawer and I gotta be the first to have "THE PDP shills of CA"

Jokes aside, I don't see a reason why you need to replace the BG2.0 with anything. Maybe just keep what you have and run with those? P365 is modular so you can size up or down as you see fit.

I love my PDP as much as Gawer, but I wouldn't call their compact "small." It's rather large for that class.

Everyone wants these slim baby size pistols…I carry a gen 3 Glock 20 or Glock 26 with g19 mag.
I had the BG 2.0 and the shield x,I considered both of them trash and sold them. I purchased those two because I had $1700 in Sportsmen reward back..instant regret
Get whatever you shoot well and that is the most comfortable.
P10c
Pdp compact
P01
Echelon

On the hikes in 5.11 chest pack, out and about I have holster pad I bought for max-9 (that little gem was rusting like mf)

My 365 is a 9mm but the .380 option is on-roster and intriguing.
Pretty sure @DesertDepotArms can help you out with conversion kit, or you can buy slide/mags on GAFS or eBay. No need for excise tax and 10 days sentence. Also, if you don’t like it can sell with minimal loss. I just not sure if it worth the hustle tbh. As @Hindsight said you are getting a gun of the same weight and dimensions as 9mm with dirtier, less capable, more expensive and somewhat less reliable round.

Are you talking about the PDP or the PDP Compact?

It's pretty neat. You can be lazy and just reuse your existing holsters or get a dedicated velcro holster like I do with a TXC delta off body version. It has plenty of room for other stuff unlike a lot of other bags so I can stuff my wallet, phone, airpods, keys, etc. in there and just carry it and a towel + water bottle/chalk in hand. Or, use the larger 5L version and more of that fits in there besides the gun.

I like savior's stuff and they're actually a CA-based company here in SoCal. So, good people to support.
Does it fit C4X?

Assuming PDP. I can conceal larger than the compact fine. Same with Glock: I can carry both the G34 and G17 no problem. Removing your gut by not eating junk and working out is the real CCW cheat code ha.

Hey there Gun Fanciers,

I have the Bodyguard 2.0 with Carry Comp and Pebble optic by Gideon (green), but I'm realizing that I only want to own guns I can train with and like shooting. Turns out, I don't really like shooting small guns, even if they conceal amazingly well. I also sold my Ruger LCP Max, and I don't like most of the small guns I've tried.

I do own a P365 with Ramjet and Afterburner. Shoots nicely. I have a PCR which could conceal well and I'm pretty accurate with it (no optic). I also have a Dan Wesson Compact.

I'm looking for a replacement "small" gun that can be used for EDC, but which actually shoots well too. Some options are the Glock 26, Shield X, Walther PDP Compact, and maybe even a P-10C Ported (if I can find one).

What's a small, EDC-capable gun that you like shooting and is accurate out to 15 yards or so?

Thanks. All opinions and recommendations welcome!
Hey I’ll be interested in your bodyguard if you would like to sell it

I have the compact. Bought it in 2020 off roster. May have overpaid but best purchase of a firearm so far. I literally have nothing that competes with it. Ive traded every single other firearm I've owned, this never goes up on the chopping block

Not saying nothing is better. For me, in over 6 years, nothing has come close.

High-praise. Sounds like it's a no-lose situation. If I don't like it (which sounds unlikely), I can sell it. Thanks for that mini review!

Oh nice, I'll ping you if I list it.
Awesome sounds good thanks!!

Why not look into a Jframe 442/642. Throw it in your pocket with an AHolster and call it a day. Can also play around with different grip sizes and +p carry loads, not picky with ammo at all. The contour doesn’t look like a regular pistol from the outside and if you do have to use it in self defense, jury may think “ooo less scary gun”
Because revolvers suck, super low capacity, horrible reloads. Fun relic of the past though. Also stop with the FUDD, you won't even face a jury if you have a clean shoot
