It's not on the list but I like a nice Cognac at room temperature. (Courvoisier or Hennessy) Some people freeze it but I think that masks the true flavor.
It tastes like candy to me and can make my mouth water in the anticipation of the first sip. (I'm getting thirsty just thinking about it)

YourJapaneseselection is most impressive... A little sad with the bourbons on the bottle shelf..
If you’ve never tried them, I’d recommend trying some of the Balcones single malt whiskeys out of Texas, they’ve got some nice bottled out (I’m partial to Cataleja and their original malt)
Lately a favorite has been the Laphroaig Four Oak, less peat, and more smoky/stone fruit/vanilla notes
If you haven’t been able to try them, I’d also recommend looking at Redwood Empire, their Batch 1 “American whiskey” is firmly in my top 10 bottles of all time.
The Grizzly Beast bourbon, standard Lost Monarch, and cask strength Pipe Dream are all excellent bottles at their price points.
Bardstown Collab series, especially the rum cask finishes, are excellent drinkers if you don’t mind whiskey on the sweeter side
Good Japanese whiskey is disappointingly hard to find in the states right now, many of my bottles have been obtained while overseas and from the distilleries themselves on trips. Hakashu 12, Hibiki Blossom, Matsui Sakura, and Kaiyo Mizunara are usually available and are good examples of Japanese whiskey in my non-expert opinion.
A true gem is the Glendalough Irish 7 year single malt finished in Mizunara oak. It’s a beautiful blend of bright Irish whiskey and the darker spicier notes that the Mizunara typically imparts into Japanese whiskey

I can’t choose all the types of booze I have in my bar from the poll.
I’m going through a bourbon phase: Booker’s, Angel’s Envy, Blanton’s, that Wild Turkey special edition, Bardstown Fusion have been seen on my booze shelf. Before that I was wading through rum. Still have several bottles of that needing to be finished. I don’t like beer, never really enjoyed it, rarely drink wine but have always like the hard stuff.

My go to is either Chivas 18 or Red Breast 12. It’s super affordable and just as good if not better than the higher priced bottles. Blanton’s (straight from the barrel) is a good one too but not an everyday bottle. Same goes with Blue Label. I like Johnny Walker with seafood pairing. I recently tried Pappy (Van Winkle 12) and I was not impressed.
