What’s the quickest in-and-out DROS experience you’ve had at a store?

Corona Turners is a rare bird! I used to use them regularly. The other party would always be weary when I said Turners, but the Corona location has always been quick. Haven’t used them in a while though so I can’t attest to how they are now. Although, by your account, sounds like they’re still solid.

Recently, over the past 5 years, 2A Zone Riverside has been insanely quick. Josh had me in and out on a pick up in probably 5 minutes flat the other day. PPTs are usually 15-20 regularly. Brett has solid teams at both locations, but Josh always knows how to take care of me in Riverside.

I’ve done a few PPTs at Get Loaded in Grand Terrace, and they’ve been just as quick. They’re a little less known, so chances of getting in without a crowd is usually pretty good.

Patriotic Arms in Canyon Lake has also done me well on a few PPTs. Again, smaller shop with less people

The buyer for my gun today wanted to do the DROS at Turner's Corona and I refused, fearing a worst-case wait time on a Saturday. I went to Turner's exactly once and it was a long wait just to buy ammo. Way too many people, way too few employees. Granted, this wasn't the Corona location but way too many people know about Turner's.

2A Riverside is my go-to for good reason.

I didn’t actually time it, but UG Imports in Fremont has it down to about 30 seconds or so. At least that’s what it felt like.

Glaser Arms in Brentwood, under 10 mins each time if there's no one ahead of you.

When I got my Echelon from Manzano Munitions it took under 10 minutes to fill out the paperwork and under 5 for the pickup. After using Bass Pro for all my other purchases it was mind blowing.

Aeon Tac in Industry was the fastest (~15 min) until I found GLS Armory in Alta Loma. Those boys don’t mess around, haha!!

My wife always knows when I buy a new firearm because I’m usually gone missing for hours doing DROS at Turner’s or Bass Pro. Going to 2A Zone with an appointment is somewhat better, but there’s still usually a line.

Today, though, I went to a LGS to buy a Springfield Echelon Gear Up bundle and was out in 13 minutes (no prefilled 4473, started from scratch), including the minute I wasted trying to find the fourth mag in the bag.

What’s the quickest DROS you guys have ever had?

10 min total in az buying my 22 revolver walked out with it in hand.

Small shop but I hear the bigger like bass pro can be a real pain there.

Ca years ago like the mid 90s to 2000 I’d say about 10 min from small shops. 2015 I bought a ppt and it took like 30 min at turners. I can’t imagine now

My first gun purchase was at Riflegear and took about 30 minutes, but that included the FSC.
