Triple A in Vallejo is has the largest inventory in the Bay Area. I grew up in San Jose so I hit up most shops in the south bay in my youth. When I moved to the North bay and found my way into this store my jaw dropped as I walked into their shop. The crew there is top notch and always highly knowledgeable. We can usually get a DROS out in 15-20min.

guns direct in burbank is always decently fast. done a few PPTs over there. nice staff

Triggernomics In Glendale in and out in over an hour ( yes an hour) and close to an hour in 10 days for pick up. Basically 2 hours to do a PPT , best store in LA

Highland guns in well, Highland. Went to start the "10-day prison sentence" on an online transfer. DROS took less than 10 minutes. I spent more time waiting in-line.

My wife always knows when I buy a new firearm because I’m usually gone missing for hours doing DROS at Turner’s or Bass Pro. Going to 2A Zone with an appointment is somewhat better, but there’s still usually a line.

Today, though, I went to a LGS to buy a Springfield Echelon Gear Up bundle and was out in 13 minutes (no prefilled 4473, started from scratch), including the minute I wasted trying to find the fourth mag in the bag.

What’s the quickest DROS you guys have ever had?

In CA, Fowler’s in Orange is pretty great. In and out in about 15. PPT done in about 40 minutes total. And they have nice too. Lol

Woodland Firearms in Woodland. Total ppt time was 10-12 minutes. Solid crew there. Takes longer to drive across town.
