They pulled the Gen V and Gen 6 out of a hat pretty quickly. It's not that much of a stretch that they have something in the works that they aren't letting many people know about.

Interesting. DOJ's preliminary evaluation was that the V-series was not a "machinegun-convertible pistol." But Glock needs to get back w/ more proof that the designs actually prevent easy conversion. I'm sure the DOJ is well aware of the videos of the Gen V and 6 w/ the automatic mods.

So... more CPRA requests to determine the outcome of the May meetings. Thanks for doing all this.

My speculation: Glock's path forward is a Gen 3 platform w Gen V-style internal changes (no CLA + mag disconnect) rather than pursuing an entirely new Gen 6 CA roster strategy w/ CLA and mag disconnect. The rumors of 48 and 43X Gen 6 at this point is slim (Gen 3 update isn't even in the clear).

Regardless of what may have been said at SHOT Show or communicated to dealers (R66) in Nov 2025 these CPRA documents are the closest thing we have to a source of truth. It's why the people who started the rumor are quiet these days. Credit to @gorgothmog for obtaining them while the rest of us were theorycrafting. This issue is why I joined these forums.

The rumor that Gen 6 is coming needs to stop.

I am glad I did not wait for a Gen 6. Based on this timeline a Gen 6 roster path appears to be at least a year away if it happens at all.
Gen 3 is likely to come back just not "easily" convertible.

If Gen 3 models return to the roster I expect the current premium to shrink. A clean G19 that sells for $550-$600 today could settle closer to $350-$450. Sellers asking $700+ will sit. Gen 5 and 6 is different those will still go $900+.

If you've been considering selling a Gen 3 now may be the best opportunity. Based on the timeline in these documents Glock could potentially have Gen 3 w/ Gen V internals resolved by late summer.

With that said, I think I'd like some community feedback on what you think my next CPRA fishing expedition should be regarding incoming Glocks. Do you want to go hunting for technical language to dredge up schematics? Should we go after meeting minutes? Deriving some sort of meta analysis on this topic from the paperwork that's surfaced leads me to believe that we should go another direction, or that maybe more time is needed before anything crystal clear materializes in what is searchable by a CPRA request with regard to what they said in that meeting. Let me know, and I'll formulate something to submit.

- Follow up on the meetings and any post-meeting details discussing Glock's proposal after the meeting
- Get everything Glock provided to CA DOJ as "evidence" that its proposed design complies w/ AB 1127 and is not "readily" convertible to a machinegun
- Get everything from DOJ's regarding their response to Glock's submission

I would keep the stream going where each CPRA request generates the next set of inquiries. If DOJ and Glock are unwilling to be transparent then every response should lead to a MORE targeted requests.

With the exception of Reno May these retarded Guntubers just read teleprompters and repeat rumors. You filing CPRAs are doing the real work. I'd watermark every release with your name.

Any Glock Gen 3 pistols currently in dealer inventory remain legal and available for sale

Once existing stock is gone, availability will be limited to what dealers already have
