Total guess, but maybe similar to what it takes to do that to a shadow systems now?How difficult will it be to revert it into a free state gen6?![]()
Hopefully it's similar to the Staccato HD's because that was an easy fix and no visible scars to my pistol.Total guess, but maybe similar to what it takes to do that to a shadow systems now?
Taking the mag disconnect out of the SS is actually even easier than that. It’s attached to the trigger shoe and held in by one small pin and spring. Knocking that pin out takes care of it. Hopefully Glock used that as inspiration for their G6 designHopefully it's similar to the Staccato HD's because that was an easy fix and no visible scars to my pistol.
You can also grab a g20 slide and have both. Not sure if you can also do a 460 Rowland with a Glock. But the 460 has very good ballisticsI don't have a 45 Glock yet so I'm fine with that
Glock V Line Test from Nov 2025.So just curious, wth does this mean for the V line?
Glock is privately held, 99% by Gaston until his passing, so you're unlikely to ever see detailed financial results. The closest I'm seeing is this analyst estimate from Forbes:Just because California has high gun sales doesn't necessarily mean it's profitable for every make and model. If you aren't making your per unit target, selling more isn't helpful, especially if you are constrained setting MSRP. Probably why you saw the Gen V's consolidate to the core models. No one has come out with any kind of number relating to Glock's non-leo sales in California. Everything I've seen is some variation of "Of course it's super duper profitable for them" , with no evidence, then proclaiming they are acting irrationally. Well, if you assume the opposite, then what they are doing seems perfectly rational.
I’m going to assume no new G32…sometimes I feel like the only person that still shoots or carries .357 Sig.
357 sig right hereI love my 31c and 32c models
I have a Glock 20, love it. Just not a fan of having to swap stuff around. Rather get a whole new gun.You can also grab a g20 slide and have both. Not sure if you can also do a 460 Rowland with a Glock. But the 460 has very good ballistics
Where did I suggest it makes sense for “every make and model” in a Glock thread?Just because California has high gun sales doesn't necessarily mean it's profitable for every make and model. have the 20 as well and yeh i would rather have the whole gun too.But for some finding a slide is a cheaper way to go money wise.I have a Glock 20, love it. Just not a fan of having to swap stuff around. Rather get a whole new gun.
Yea she's a fat onehave the 20 as well and yeh i would rather have the whole gun too.But for some finding a slide is a cheaper way to go money wise.
I think with a 460 rowland you can still shoot 45acp out of it too.I need to confirm this though,I have a colt commander that i may go this route,I have the g20 for my outdoors gun but i hate the size of the grip.
I pride myself as a good listener & reddit downvotes me that multiple youtubers and people stating glock might have something for california. Not too sour I spent money on a glock gen 3 tho. But its good that glock is considering giving us something. Not a glock fan myself but its a default option for someone new to firearms you can go wrong with it.
Technically it won't fall off roster, dealers just can't get any new stock. I believe they also have a few months to sell through existing stock. The CEO of SS did say they had something in the works to modify the cruciform trigger to keep it on the roster. We have 11 days left for them to announce something.
Reddit full of crybaby’s. Told a guy that xr920 was better then the 45 and 19x and got down voted like crazy.I pride myself as a good listener & reddit downvotes me that multiple youtubers and people stating glock might have something for california. FFLs won’t be able to transfer Glocks effective in July 2026. This may effect PPT and LEO purchases if they can’t do a transfer period.IMPORTANT CALIFORNIA HANDGUN UPDATE
Glock Gen 3 pistols will remain on the California Roster, however Glock is no longer producing them.
What does that mean?
Any Glock Gen 3 pistols currently in dealer inventory remain legal and available for sale
Once existing stock is gone, availability will be limited to what dealers already have
That said — this is NOT the end of options for California.
Yes, you read that right: NEW options are coming to California.
But we're getting Gen 6, no?FFLs won’t be able to transfer Glocks effective in July 2026. This may effect PPT and LEO purchases if they can’t do a transfer period.
Glock is dead in California
