Seems like Glock could add mag disconnect and Lci to GenV and submit for roster easier than adding the rails to prevent switches. Why have V model and Gen6 at the same time? Seems like V for Blue states and Gen6 for Red states is the way to go for Glock.

Thats a terrible idea. Don't over complicate it. No one wants a CA compliant gen V. Glock will probably discontinue the gen V anyway. A CA-compliant version of the Gen 6 is obviously the better idea. It's not even necessary since the gen 6 incorporates the same internal changes to the slide that the gen V has to make it incompatible with switches.

Glock is going to sell a lot of Gen 6s in CA. Newsom will be furious. Just when Dems thought they banned Glocks, which are probably the most prolific firearm. Glock seems to be 2 steps ahead of them, coming out with an even better model than the gen 3. ROFLMFAO! Well played, Glock, well played. Fingers crossed the MDM is easily removable and the CLI is part of the extractor.

Once existing stock is gone, availability will be limited to what dealers already have
