Truth. So many better options on the roster now. The M&P really can't be beat these days. I shot my M2.0 and G34 recently and thought to myself that I probably won't get a Gen 6 Glock when they are available. The Glock trigger, while perfectly adequate on a self-defense gun like a 19 or 17, is just not anywhere near as nice as the triggers on newer on-roster guns. And I heard the Gen 6 trigger is the same. IF people are actually paying north of a grand for a Glock, they are either obsessed with them or just plain ignorant. In either case, they are not making a rational decision.

I have felt no difference with my gen3 19 from a gen4, gen5 and I dont think the 6 will be noticeably different. The updates to the Gen6 people have been doing for years, now it’s just straight out of box…only took them 20 years to figure it out.

I’d much rather people spend their money on ammo and training but it’s surprisingly hard to get people there.

It’s the same price as an off roster Glock, but people would rather show and tell then have skills and do drills. Hopefully that paradigm will change.

You don’t need 10 different firearms. 2 with good training and a lot of ammo is the shizzle.

Just do both.

Emphasis on need. If your hobby is collecting guns that’s cool. If you learn how to use them the guns themselves become another level of fun. All good as you can spend on what you want but I’m just saying for the same money you can get a comparable gun AND training and use it for literally the same price. You’ll get waaaay more use out of your existing equipment, but again I’m just bringing classes to people because it’s really fun and making it available at a honest price.

Plus most people don’t realize how bad they are, when it comes shooting fundamentals but they think they’re bad boys because they own multiple firearms. You can totally own more btw, just get some training

Like it or not, itll keep happening. No one can do anything about how someone chooses to sell their property. Accept it or dont. No point in complaining.

Because they are dangerous tools? If you don’t have a ccw or compete, you should still know how to safely operate a firearm.

Majority of accidents happen from people who treat them like toys. I’m not saying you need a degree or advanced level but you should take a class to see if you really know how to use it.

You make it sound like I’m saying you need to get an advanced level. I’m talking about basic proficiency so you can actually hit what you want. That’s the most basic level of proficiency I’m talking about. Most people can’t do this.

For a lot of others, it's adults LARPing and servicing their "tier one operator" fetish. Like a never-ending first 10 minutes in boot camp when you first put on all your 782 gear and full battle rattle before the DIs make you pay for something while wearing it all and you realize how uncomfortable it all is.

My main thing is just that people add it to the hobby. It’s not that expensive compared to all the stuff that comes with the hobby and will genuinely enhance the experience over the entire life of the hobby.

You get more out of every round that you send. Then that training lasts a few years and then do it again after you’ve bought your 6-7th Staccato/Glock etc. for the price of one firearm you enhance your skills for all of them and increase your handling skills which makes it safer for you and everyone immediately around you.

Glocks are reliable but, nothing special. Concentrate your efforts on other off roster firearms. Gen 5s selling for $1600.00 that are NIB Blue Label for $525. Tell the Off Roster Glock sellers these are not special to be selling for $1600 PPT.

Glocks are the most widely used guns on planet earth. Everyone from civilians, police, military chose to use them. Let those folks that want to pay that much do it. It's not your money. It's like people buying Tesla CyberTruck nothing special about them.. but if you have the money and want to buy it go ahead. Another example would be when the PS5 came out and the demand was higher that what was being produced and resellers were selling them for 3x or more. Yes they could have waited till now... but some people want to buy and use them now.

I'm with you ikeo1. But I guess they'll never agree with you and you'll never agree with them. We are multiple individuals who see guns from a million angles.

There’s multiple disciplines. You can choose to game or not but keep in mind you don’t start at a high level, I encourage people to get training and bring in resources. It’s up to people to make that decision to take the next step.

I’m literally talking about 1-2 classes on fundamentals. The current style of tactical gamer isn’t what you think it is. This type of training is for LEO/MIL and these guys train the trainers for basic training.

I think you misunderstand what I’m trying to do. We offer information, a classifieds section, discussion AND now training/classes for the things here. You don’t have to use it, but now it’s here where it really wasn’t before. Quality training at a reasonable price.

If you don't like the high price don't buy it. I'm thankful that we have the opportunity to own off roster guns through PPT. Could you imagine if you were not allowed to purchase an off roster gun? I paid $925 for my G19.5 so if I sell it I would like to get at least that. Not all of us selling are trying to take advantage of others. Sometimes we are trying to get close to what we paid for it.

While I get there are many great options on the roster now, many people want guns without the “safety” features especially for CCW if they cannot or will not modify their pistol.
