Choose the right search

Use forum search for discussions and Classifieds search for item listings. In Classifieds, begin with the category and narrow the results using the filters offered on the page.

If a search finds too little or too much, check the category and active filters before changing your keywords. A listing's title and description can contain different information. Use the relevant search fields when offered and try the item's recognizable model or name.

For a historical introduction, see the staff Classifieds search guide. Controls can change; use the labels shown in the current interface.

Report an image problem clearly

If an upload fails or a photograph displays incorrectly, note:
  • Whether the issue happens during upload, in the listing, or in the listing preview.
  • Your device, browser and image format.
  • The error message and whether it happens with another photograph.
Include a screenshot when asking for help, but remove private details first. A workaround from an older discussion may relate to a problem that has since been fixed.

Conversation inbox limits

Private messages are Conversations. If your inbox reaches its allowance, review old Conversations and use the Leave action on those you no longer need in your inbox. Read the choices in the confirmation screen before accepting. Leaving a Conversation is not a way to delete another member's copy of the exchange.

Do not post private messages or contact information in a public thread to demonstrate an inbox problem. Share only the error text and general steps unless staff requests details privately.

Common questions

Why is search unavailable?
Check that you are signed in and read any access notice. Search availability may depend on account permissions. Include the page URL and exact message when asking for help.

My photo looks blurry or the wrong picture is showing. Is that the same problem?
Not necessarily. Upload quality, the cover photograph and photographs inside the listing are different parts of the workflow. Tell staff which one is affected and whether the result changes after reopening the listing.

I cannot edit or relist an item. Should I erase the old listing?
Preserve the transaction record. Open the actual Classifieds listing and check its status and the actions offered to your account. Ask for help if the expected action is missing.

Where can I get help?
For general site questions, visit Site Feedback or Getting started. Send private details to staff through Conversations.
