Welcome to CAGuns
CAGuns has two connected spaces: forums for discussion and Classifieds for item listings. Knowing which one to use makes getting started much easier.Create and confirm your account
If you are new, create an account with a username, an email address you can access and a password. Complete the information requested by the form and review the terms and privacy policy before registering.Check your email for the account confirmation message and follow its link. If it has not arrived, check your spam or junk folder and confirm that you entered the right email address. While signed in, use Resend confirmation email if you need another message. Follow any additional notice displayed on your account; email confirmation does not remove a separate access restriction.
Before your first post

- Open your account settings to review your profile and preferences.
- For an introduction or a general question about using the site, visit New here? Getting started.
- Choose the discussion option offered by the forum, enter a descriptive title, and explain your question before submitting.
Discussion or listing?
Use forums to ask questions and join conversations with the community. To advertise an item for sale, wanted or trade, start in Classifieds and select the appropriate category. Do not create a sale listing as an ordinary forum thread. A discussion attached to a listing is a place for public comments, not the listing form.Contact a member privately
Private messages are called Conversations. Use the envelope icon or the conversation action offered on a member's profile. Forum replies and profile comments are public. Check that you are in a Conversation before sharing contact or meeting details.Common questions
I cannot see a posting button. What should I do?Check that you are signed in, read any account notice, and confirm that you are in the correct section. Access restrictions and account allowances can affect which actions appear. A missing button does not automatically mean you need more forum posts or an upgrade.
Can I use another account to get around a restriction?
Follow the notice and ask staff for help rather than trying to bypass it. When asking, include the exact error text and page URL. Keep passwords and private transaction details out of public requests.
Where can I ask a question about the site?
Use Site Feedback for general site questions. Use Conversations when you need to share private details with staff.
