They had a video where Johnny Glock showed they were not drop safe. Subsequent changes were made along with USPSA (my USPSA jokes from earlier aside) that made them drop-safe and USPSA-approved. Johnny Glocks tested the new USPSA approved version, and if word on the street is to be believed, has not made a full-form video on the USPSA approved trigger since there is no longer an issue with the trigger to make a feature length video about.

I posted the same thread on another forum and had some interesting answers. I will go first and say yes I have had an ND while reloading at an IPSC match, mandatory reload. Gun was safely pointed down range but still sent me home. Full custom 1911 in 38 super 1999. What is your story ?? I have...

In ~30 years of competetive shooting, I have had 2.
One was the first day I tried a Hogue powerspeed holster unlocked and the gun was in the holster and my hands were up when the RO told me to lean over and put my hands on a prop to start the stage and the gun fell out of the unlocked holster and landed perfectly muzzle down on concrete and UD'd.
The 2nd one was at Mystery Mountain where they had you ditch a loaded handgun into a carpet box before you jumped into the helicopter and the gun UD'd when it landed in the box.
I blame that 2nd one on crappy stage design as there's no reason they could not have said to deposit your unloaded pistol in the box before proceeding into the helicopter.
There were something like ~20 ND's that year, over 5% of the ~350 shooters so it was not just me.
