I don’t know what they’re trying to say in the video but if the gun is so fragile why are millions in service with police and military and working fine

lol the military guns get used a lot. Every M9 I used in the navy was like silver blue from all the finish being rubbed off haha. I never saw a deep black one until I bought my own recently

Yet to see any alleged UD’s on a California model 320 with manual safety (engaged) or without someone touching the gun itself in some kind of manner.

Sig’s problem is that they should’ve the P320 with a tabbed trigger, manual safety or not. The P365 - better design or not - is going to far less reholstring reps and manipulations since the 320 is often used for competition and duty.

Perhaps the best path forward for them is to release a new P320 with a tabbed trigger that’s still compatible with all the current released P320 parts and upgrades - except non-tabbed triggers if that’s possible.

Guess Sig maybe worry about the change will constitute admitting design oversight. Too many lawsuits awaits.

Whether or not there’s an actual issue It’s like saying “we just can’t trust that people will holster safely so we’re adding an additional layer”.

I’m certain they’re working on something. The P320 is a great pistol with an awesome ecosystem of modularity. But I do expect they’re being very careful with regard to the optics of legal issues.

They really just should’ve added a trigger dingus immediately when these reports first started gaining traction, I think it’s too late now to save the p320’s public image. Still a good idea to do though

I was wearing my 320 constantly hoping it would go off by itself and I could sue and get a huge payout but the flaw in my plan that I realized later is that I have the California version...hasn't gone off yet and probably never will.
