This is the wayI have an FFL03 and COE and as someone wrote, it makes buying ammo like living in a free state! I have an Ammo+ membership with Target Sports USA. They usually stock my preferred 9mm and .22 brands.
Can't beat shipping right to your door, and no excise tax or FFL handling fee.

I second these guys. They are super nice and helpful. Not very fast but they have good prices on military surplus rifles ammo.Outdoor Limited has had what I needed. Free shipping over $200
Also, check out these guys: https://deleonrxgunsandammo.com/
Great prices, nice to deal with. They're not fast, but they are reliable in my experience. Multiple ammo orders and one firearms order, no troubles. They are a drop shipper, which have a bad rap, but never any troubles with these guys. However, DO READ their returns policies.
Velocityammosales.comI've actually never bought ammo online before and was looking for some recommended sites. Please share which places you've had good experiences with and which places one should avoid!
I remember having UPS drop it off at my job in LA county. The driver would always be like 'What's in here that so heavy?'It used to buy a couple of cases of shotshells from Roger’s Sporting Goods.
The good old days of ordering it and having the nosy UPS driver ask why I had so much ammo being delivered. He probably hated 2014.

Targetsports usa is also good but they require a membership to ship for free which you'll likely save enough but it is still an up front cost. Due to membership and tax, it's actually super annoying to see the price jump up after you put in the cart because their ammo+ price doesn't include tax so the cpr is never correct. However they usually have more selection and can sometimes be cheaper than velocity.
I'll take a look!I have been seeing better pricing for true shot ammo than for targetsports ammo+ now. Especially for my most shot caliber, 9mm.
Here is a screenshot on blazer 9mm 115 grain for a case; I think free shipping and no taxes charged, possibly. No membership required.I'll take a look!
Not great but not bad for the current market pricesHere is a screenshot on blazer 9mm 115 grain for a case; I think free shipping and no taxes charged, possibly. No membership required.
True, but my prices at target sports are higher right now. They are reliable, but their pricing is higher than other sites now, even with membership. Not great but not bad for the current market prices
