I prefer velocity and it's my go to places for the simplicity but there are two minor issues about velocity that a new user needs to be aware of:
1. They usually prefer fedex so if fedex sucks at your area (it was the case for more than a year until recently), you'll have to email customer support to make sure they ship your package via UPS and you'll have to do that for every order.
2. They don't necessarily have the best price or even the largest selection if that's your thing. Also you need to make sure you have over $200 for the free shipping.

Good things about velocity are: 1. Great service and reliable shipping. 2. No tax (or tax is included) so makes it easier to calculate how much before you checkout

Targetsports usa is also good but they require a membership to ship for free which you'll likely save enough but it is still an up front cost. Due to membership and tax, it's actually super annoying to see the price jump up after you put in the cart because their ammo+ price doesn't include tax so the cpr is never correct. However they usually have more selection and can sometimes be cheaper than velocity.

I have been seeing better pricing for true shot ammo than for targetsports ammo+ now. Especially for my most shot caliber, 9mm.

If they are as reliable, I’m letting my ammo+ membership expire this year.

True, but my prices at target sports are higher right now. They are reliable, but their pricing is higher than other sites now, even with membership.

Not apples to apples, but federal American eagle 115gr was 29.4¢/rd as of earlier this week with ammo+ membership. Plus they add sales tax.

Not sure if said but 9mm went up within the last month. I bought some in oct was 215 otd. Then in Jan it went to about 235 otd then last month went to get another case it was 300 otd.

I was price shocked cause a week earlier it was still 235. Checked online and you lost places were around 28 cents a round plus tax. Even true shot was 28
