CA legal Glock gen 6 rumor mill

I would assume glock would do SOMETHING to get their pistols for sale in CA.
In all likelihood, it'll be a modified Gen3 or a Gen V tailored for CA.

All companies say they are "working on" things to keep your loyalty, but doesn't mean it's actually in the works.

6 is already old news, we're getting the Gen 7 here in Cali.

Release date is Shot Show 2037, hang on to your magazines!

I see folks are excited to get a Glock with the big red CLI and mag disconnect? ;)
I think it's more they're just excited at the thought of finally getting an actually brand new Glock on the roster. We've seen recently that some manufacturers have found ways to make the "safety" features much less intrusive too, so hopefully the same is true with the G6.

Plus I am stoked of the changes they made, yeah yeah should of been done 3 gens ago, but still, they did it! No one ever thought they would and with the market shifting in P365, Shield/MP, and now Echelon favor, glock has a chance to take back some of that CA money cause a lot love glocks but when compared to these offerings the gen 3 didn’t make sense. But a gen 6 to me sure would

I think it’s more like get a new Glock at what it should cost. It’s tough to snag those lucky off roster deals that pop up and are sold in 5 mins.

The i dont think soo. My local shops does them super fast. Did my staccato hd as well. I think its just a chuck gun

Glock was standing out on the roster. It was the exact same version the free states were getting. If it Gen6,7.8 gets on the roster, it will becomes another CA neutered gun, unfortunately. For all it takes, I prefer the free-state, no BS, design.

Yeah, the compact's dimensions don't make it as easy as g19 to conceal, full sized slide is quite a bit longer and a bit wider than a 17/47, but as far as shooting it goes, the Full size is my new favorite.

Its a big freaking gun.

It would be so easy to “origify” it back to normal.

A lci and mag disconnect is far from being neutered. So your vote is ww go back to the forzen list.

At least if there's a Gen 6 on the roster you'll have a choice. You can buy a CA approved or an out-of-state through PPT. It should also bring the price down even on the out-of-state guns because it will drive down the demand.
