CCW Contra Costa County

Check out Penal Code 26200(b) "may also include any reasonable restrictions or conditions that the licensing authority deems warranted, including restrictions as to the time, place, manner, and circumstances under which a licensee may carry..." BUT "Any restrictions imposed by the issuing authority must be indicated on the license".

At best they could revoke your permit, you are still legally carrying they can't revoke it post facto and say you were commiting a felony because you had a flashlight on your gun. It's WILD that they are doing testing on your F-ing flashlight though what an absolute waste of everyone's time and money
FWIW I was so proud the first time I went to the range with my WML (during the day time, only a month after purchasing my first pistol). Went to go case it up and noticed my light was no longer on the pistol :ROFLMAO:

At first I was too embarrassed to tell that story then I learned how may other people experienced the same thing. Don't get me started on folks with their first optics...luckily, I've only had the "I think my optic is off zero" issue.
