Delusional Sellers (CA Guns Classifieds)

Come again?
He’s implying that it’s hypocritical to be against restrictive gun laws (because it’s the government “telling gun owners what to do”) and simultaneously “telling” gun owners on here they should be posting their classifieds for less $. I don’t agree because you’re not threatening to put them in jail (or shoot them in the face if they resist) so it’s not really the same thing now is it?

These threads are all the same yet here we are again.
  • Sellers are free to charge whatever they want as it’s a free country
  • Buyers are free to pay way over MSRP if they want as it’s a free county.
  • Posters are free to post and complain about both as it’s a free county.
I’m following a G19 Gen 6 for $1800. When it hits $1400 I may buy it. My money my choice.
Well said sir.

I always start pricing on the high end of what I think is reasonable. Sometimes the gun sits and I collect watchers, until eventually I might lower the price enough to get some serious interest. I also further research pricing during this time.
This is the way.

It does look pretty sweet.

I’ve found DEALS in the classifieds. I don’t even care about those pricey guns enough to get mad lol i know what i got says my bank account

The OP say he’s not willing to pay $3000 for a platypus, granted I don’t know which model he’s looking at, but if this was on roster, after an average of 9% sales tax, 11% excise tax, and shipping, you’re gonna be right around $3000 at the end of the day. Of course, this will be for a brand new one. But I don’t think anybody’s taking a family to Disneyland on this slim profit margin. Not sure the last time you’ve been to Disneyland, wanna talk about price gouging! Just my two cents.

True. Most sellers would let this one go for about $3500-4000

That’s purdy! God, I hate this state. I’ve been on the hunt for a TRP AOS 5” in 9mm FDE. So far, nothing.

Stealth Arms knows exactly what they're doing.... this is one of their flagship option packages

Okay... now that's gotta go on the "one day I will own this, regardless of which of my kids I have to sell into slavery" list...

And this is My Basic B**** Platypus
IF I HAD ONE!!!!
Even if that Platypus was on roster and you were allowed to order it. After all the taxes and FFL fees you're looking at around $2k OTD.

So, a more then fair price would be $2.5k and that's even if you're lucky enough to find one configured the way you like it.

Supply and demand... if it's not for you, or not in your budget, carry-on... all the commentary is pansy-ish... Let people spend what they want, on what they want. Kick rocks.
