My LGS ( 29 Outdoor Gear) has an account with the Glockstore. Ask your LGS , especially one with gun smithing services about which distributors they have accounts with . MGW, Brownells , Midway all will ship to the LGS . It’s going to cost more but you can still get what you want.

That’s the point…they are trying to economically strangle the firearms community.

Remember, your now higher-priced “accessory” shipped to your FFL will also include an FFL markup along with an 11% excise tax.

There are a lot of people who seem to think it's a dead cert that Glock is so profitable in California they would never leave us. We aren't privy to the books even a little. It could very well be eliminating civvie sales in California is a wash when you have the real numbers. Just the legal fees are probably a decent amount.

Yes, we can still get what we want through third party- it’s just disappointing to see Glock signal again that they are turning their backs to the CA market, for something even as simple as parts.

The intention here is to shut down out-of-state direct-to-consumer commerce in firearms parts.

Then, they can continue to strangle FFLs in the state. Eventually, you will be able to buy stuff from limited suppliers in state and it’s gonna cost a ton of cash. And, enjoy the commute, because they won’t be selling over the phone or internet.

Glock is still privately owned, correct? It's just the trophy wife widow who only cares about horses, yeah? So, they can make business decisions on a whim, if they don't have shareholders to answer to. Could be horse lady just DNGAF about an extra $10 millie a year or whatever, if it makes life easier.

As someone pointed out, Midwayusa is a good source, reasonably priced. Glockstore prices are way inflated. Glockmeister is good as well for OEM stuff.

I did a spare parts order direct from Glock using their price list back in October, and the prices were dirt cheap, although the selection was very limited from what it used to be. They basically got rid of most of their previous gen parts from the list, including Gen 3, so honestly, you're missing out on very little not being able to buy from them now anyway.

Getting a gun on the roster is likely less of a pain and more profitable than selling the parts for a gun that never breaks in the first place. Only two minor changes are required to make it roster ready and then submit 3 pistols to DOJ. I would bet they continue to sell us parts after it's clear how the law is implemented though.

I bought all the wearable parts I need for my Glocks in multiples. Same with my CZ’s.

Most shooters don’t shoot enough to need to replace recoil springs, extractors and barrels.

I’m tapped out so at this point I need to rely on third parties. I might get a set of LOK grips and call it a day.

As long as it's a firearm or ammunition.
Accessories/parts don't have excise tax.

While those items can eventually be incorporated into a vendor’s website process, it will still require manual interventions to ensure IDs are correct and to receive and retain the purchaser’s acknowledgments. That may cut into vendors’ profit lines so as to make doing business into CA is unfeasible.

Midway and Brownells have already figured it all out.
Most big resellers in the industry follow what those two do.

Try placing an order on the glock online store. It’s all blocked right now. They’ve ceased all parts/accessory orders to CA already.

Glock as a company policy has turned their backs on us. Now we’ll have to jump through third party hoops to service our glocks with replacement parts…

Someone needs to teach their website developer proper English.
