Glock - Gen 6 Revealed!

What the heck is that extractor? Looks big enough for the ugly text inscription requirement… maybe the CLI finally becomes an LCI for CA…

Watched the TFB video, the thumb thing doesn't appear to stick out as much...might be good.

LOL....by adding the CA features needed?

I'm not saying this particular version gets on the roster....they'd have to make a CA version. Since they have nothing to sell in CA anymore, hoping they move forward with making that version.

It does look like the best Glock yet, and by that same logic, the best semiautomatic pistol yet. They improved the ergonomics, got rid of the stupid MOS system, and didn't sacrifice reliability. Getting rid of MOS is a noticeable improvement alone. Fingers crossed they make a CA-compliant version. They would easily outsell anything else on the roster. Don't really care about the FCU concept, I'd rather just buy a 17/47 and 19, then I could have 4 configurations: 19, 45, 17/47, and 49.

Looks like they took the Shadow Systems idea and made it their own, along with many other features lol. They did this to improve the MOS system substantially. Hopefully it will be good enough for CA.

I heard some Glock engineers were caught disassembling Shadow Systems at SHOT last year and looking at the Mag Disconnect Safety, so hopefully they will be using all of this to finally get us some new Glocks, especially since they have gotten rid of all the ones they were selling us.

Based on everything I see, I'll be getting one if/when they get added to the Roster @Route66ShootingSportsPark has said that Glock has had something ready for CA for months now, he seems to be in the know, so let's hope he's right!

I know I'm in for one, or three, hell maybe five :ROFLMAO:
 
So... almost everything that I've done to a Gen 3, they're including in a Gen 6? Took them long enough but it's not like we got Gen 4 or Gen 5, doesn't seem likely we'll get Gen 6.

Gen 6 will be great for newcomers getting into firearms or Glocks.
 
The fact Glock used this to get completely out from under Gen 3 production, knowing that meant the end in California doesn't fill me with confidence they will bother with us going forward.

They kept the Gen 3 alive likely because of CA, I don't think they want to lose the CA Market, we probably buy more than many countries.

They did all of the redesign and allegedly copied Shadow Systems, so I'm hopeful they are finally getting around to getting a new Generation on the CA Roster.

Too bad so sad for all those LEO's having a Glock side hustle!

The big change is that during Gen 4 and 5 production they had something to sell in CA, and now having nothing to sell in CA is what gives me hope. I’m not saying I think it’s going to happen, but it’s a major catalyst to possibly make it happen this time.
