Please let me know which ones are because I have tried to shoot the Walther and glocks and usually ended of getting malfunctions constantly. They aren't mine so not sure how well maintained they are but they look clean enough to function. Just not impressed with the 3 or 4 times I tried them
Well... there's your problem, or at least part of it. The little Walther has it's own "Bible" (spell book?!) and is well known to only like certain ammo! My wife hated hers, when I finally found an off roster Ruger SR22, I think she was about to toss the Walther in the nearest trash can... I was ordered to "just get rid of it". I had already tired of trying to find the magic spell required to make it run like a real gun....
I'm not familiar with the Glock, but I recall seeing more than a couple complaints about reliability with that one when it came out. Theres' the Sig Mosquito too....
As above, an SR22 will dump mag after mag of most ammo I've fed it, with the caveat that some brands of .22lr ammo have proven kinda fidgety...
The LCP II/.22 is a solid performer from my experience, still might benefit from a buff and polish, but shot 100% right out the box.
Even my pot metal, "Saturday Night Special" descendant, Phoenix HP22's (3 of them, with either barrel option, and for giggles I collected .25ACP conversion slide/barrel/mags when I want a REALLY underperforming round <wink>) run standard velocity ammo (per their manual, no HV) with no issues, although I know another owner that couldn't get hers to run reliably. The owner escaped California before I got a chance to see if my hunch of why it was unreliable was correct...
NAA Mini revolvers go bang on command in LR, and WMR if you want a little "kick".
10/22's? Got a "few" in various configurations, all run perfectly.
And to top it off, I've got .22WMR rifles and pistols that are dead nuts reliable, with significantly more "spice" than LR...
It's too bad you had a bad experience with "bad guns" that didn't shoot well, I've run across a few myself, and it does suck, especially if it was a gun you REALLY wanted to like, or at least have it work reliably... There's a lot of cheap fun to be had with a couple hundred .22 rounds downrange and a target with a big ragged hole... and yer paws and joints don't get beat up!
