Got a legit question. Why does the mag disconnect bother so many people? I legit never notice it except in my p365 where it’s an issue with changing the trigger

say you drop your mag, and when you're in a pinch, and still have a round in the chamber, but you can't fire that shot to save your life because of the mag disconnect. To each their own, I'd just prefer not to have the mag disconnect.

issues with the capstan screws. got the RCR second hand and I need the small 6-32 capstan that of course weren't in there. AND those are a bit difficult to find.....

What you are describing is exactly why some manufacturers developed magazine safety disconnects in the past. S&W for example. Not to prevent negligent discharges but to prevent an LEO from having their own gun used against them in a struggle. If an LEO felt their gun was about to be taken away they could drop the mag rendering the gun unuseable, buying time for the officer to regain control.

Mag Discos and LCI/CLIs have been around on some of the earliest semiauto handgun designs. They arent a new concept at all. The original 9mm pistol, the Luger P08 has an LCI. The Browning HP has a Mag Disco.

I'm curious to know people's thoughts on the VP9L vs VP9 Match, as both are now on the roster.

They're very similar. The match is a bit larger, while the "L" is a bit heavier. Each is... tempting.

In research and asking around, i am told the match is an upgraded version of the L. Match has a tad bit longer barrel and has an upgraded trigger than the L.
