There was an article about someone getting caught doing something, and they found 500 rounds, talking like it was some crazy-prepper-level arsenal. Dude, no, that’s “I need to order more soon” levels.

I recently DROS’d six guns.

When I went in for the paperwork, my FFL asked me “What do you have this time, JF64K?”

I couldn’t remember all that I had ordered, haha!!

For a *split* second, I thought “Man, does this mean I’ve got too many?” before my FFL said “Can’t remember them all? That’s awesome. I hope to be like you someday!” Haha!!

tl;dr There’s no such thing as too much.

Thats not enough of any one caliber. Then there is multiple calibers. .380, 9mm, 38 special, 357, .45, .22, .223, 6mm, .308, 30-06, 12 ga. and I am sure alot of people of more calibers. It not actually a lot, but that is going to scare some people.
