Kimber 2K11 California Updates?

they literally make it in other calibers in steel at that price point. sounds like we are in agreement that it would be better in steel. Basically every review says "its nice but it would be better in steel"
Those other options are not the same price. They cost $200 more.

definitely a great mindset goes a long way. effective training and meticulous planning for what the duty/mission entails. competitions are a great and fun way to run and gun with some stress is a fun and effective way to maintain that discipline

Two 2K11s for the price of one p4X, if rumored price tag is true

“one of the best, if not the best 2011 for the money”

Yep, Staccato is getting absolutely obliterated by both Kimber and Sig Sauer. Big boys at the table eating their lunch

If they work i had prodigy mags too its just a bulk mag for us having to run 10 rounds. Over all are people runing the affordable mags over altas mags?
I don’t have any 2011s to test Mec gar 2011 mags, I have only staccato HD and platypus, both run Mec gar Glock mags exclusively. I also have CZs and M9 mags by Mec gar, and they all are flawless .

Competition maybe not. But $100 2011 mags is for the birds. Glock mag 2011 all day.
100 for a 10 round mag is a sin.
2011 with 10 rd mags is like a ferrari stuck in 2nd gear.
I have plenty of sig p320 and glock mags in standard capacity (over the neutered 10)
LOVE the platypus, will consider Sig P211.

If I was stuck running limited capacity mags/non freedom week mags, probably. Or, Perfect Zero's new cheaper polymer basepad mags are a good value and basically the same as the classic Atlas mags but with a plastic basepad which won't matter for most people who aren't competing (and even for people competing it may not matter much). I don't know if they're offering them in 10-round versions yet though.

I find HO entertaining, but he's kind of been known to be a pretty big shill - not at the level of colion noir, but also not as "honest" as someone like AJ/LeaditOut.

I do agree with him that the 2k11 is a better value than the HD Staccato stuff, but that's separate from the fact that he's kind of a joke in the more serious 2011 community. PT really really must have done him wrong to be publicly called out in such a way as most brands that send him stuff get a free pass.

The more choices we have the happier we are. I love my c3.6, and I love my platypus. I will get and love P4.5 if staccato ever brings it, and if not I’ll get Kimber 2k11 pro comp in 4.25 as sweet spot between 3.6” staccato and 5” platy.
