Modernizing the M9

I put WC thin grips on mine and it helped a LOT. Also installed the lighter "D" spring. Yesterday I tried to install the Wilson Combat magazine ramp but 1. Their hole isn't perfectly aligned (they said this could happen) but 2. I've read that it increases the DA pull weight. Might return it and keep my lanyard. I can hang cute charms from it!
 
This is what I mean

None of my handguns do this. I can always let go of the slide and it’ll go all the way forward. But on this M9 if it’s not let go hard from being retracted fully it doesn’t go all the way forward into battery.

So if you ride the slide at all it will hang up like this. My other guns don’t do that at all.

Does this happen if you slide release? Also have you tried a different slide?
