I put WC thin grips on mine and it helped a LOT. Also installed the lighter "D" spring. Yesterday I tried to install the Wilson Combat magazine ramp but 1. Their hole isn't perfectly aligned (they said this could happen) but 2. I've read that it increases the DA pull weight. Might return it and keep my lanyard. I can hang cute charms from it!

I'm really trying to like something other than the 1911 Gov, and it's not going well. I'm considering trying a CZ 75B SAO next time one shows up. I'm a lefty, so that leaves the classic CZ field pretty limited for me.

I have a CZ75 SAO. It is great.

This is what I mean

None of my handguns do this. I can always let go of the slide and it’ll go all the way forward. But on this M9 if it’s not let go hard from being retracted fully it doesn’t go all the way forward into battery.

So if you ride the slide at all it will hang up like this. My other guns don’t do that at all.

LTT VZ grips and LOK grips. The LOKs fill my hands better which is why I swapped them to my Elite tonight after the range trip.

Does this happen if you slide release? Also have you tried a different slide?

No if you pull the slide all the way back and let go it is normal, and it shoots fine but I only shot about 100 rounds maybe less
