Modernizing the M9

I put WC thin grips on mine and it helped a LOT. Also installed the lighter "D" spring. Yesterday I tried to install the Wilson Combat magazine ramp but 1. Their hole isn't perfectly aligned (they said this could happen) but 2. I've read that it increases the DA pull weight. Might return it and keep my lanyard. I can hang cute charms from it!

I'm really trying to like something other than the 1911 Gov, and it's not going well. I'm considering trying a CZ 75B SAO next time one shows up. I'm a lefty, so that leaves the classic CZ field pretty limited for me.
I have a CZ75 SAO. It is great.

This is what I mean

None of my handguns do this. I can always let go of the slide and it’ll go all the way forward. But on this M9 if it’s not let go hard from being retracted fully it doesn’t go all the way forward into battery.

So if you ride the slide at all it will hang up like this. My other guns don’t do that at all.

Does this happen if you slide release? Also have you tried a different slide?

LTT VZ grips and LOK grips. The LOKs fill my hands better which is why I swapped them to my Elite tonight after the range trip.

No if you pull the slide all the way back and let go it is normal, and it shoots fine but I only shot about 100 rounds maybe less

Aren’t LTT grips made by LOK?
Mine are

I like it so much better without optics

I have an LOK thin veloce on my first 92. I'll probably get the same for the M9 I just got.

92 Vertec. Serial tracks to 2003.

4.6 barrel w/CGW bushing (pic)
Decocker only
LTT trigger bar, steel guide rod, wilson hammer.
Lamp in the front, blacked out rear.
Really loving the new LOK wraparound grips(pic) I previously modified an old pachmeyer grip for a 92sb to fit, but it's a little too thick for other family members.(pic)

This thing is uncanny accurate out to 50, and I'll sometime setup a 5x5 plate at 100 to show off if it's more than just me and the boy on a range day.

Those wraparounds would be awesome if I had bigger hands. When the budget permits it I will have a shop checker the back strap.

oh oh we are talking about my favorite pistol family ever!?

Top to bottom:
CAL Inox, only change is dumping those trash rubber grips
CAL M9A1 LOK grips
LTT Elite G
XI SAO
and bonus 80x

Shoot the 💩 out of them and the break in incredibly well. Never go under 14lb springs if you’re going to shoot random ammo. WC and LTT are the kings of Beretta. WC has mostly stopped but I still want to get my hands on one. LTT trigger job in a bag is all you need. Optics are dog 💩 even with the LTT cuts. Though they are better than the factory Beretta cut and plates. I die a little inside every time I see 94x posts. I will have a few of those.

In CA the best combo right now requires two pistols. M9A1 and a brigadier. You drop all the LTT stuff into the M9A1 frame and use the brigadier slide with good night sights. G Convert if you want a decocker only.

The surplus 84’s and 85’s not being available here in CA is a F-ing crime against god.

Out of curiosity what makes the M9A1 frame and brigadier slide combo good?
