I found out about this site through the Reddit thread. I mainly collect odd things, but I have a tendency to collect big bore firearms. 10 ga, .454 Casull, .458 rem mag, 9.3x62, are just a smattering. Been collecting and shooting since 1989 and what a long strange trip it’s been.

I would occasionally list guns, ammo, and accessories for sale on the old site and am looking forward to doing that again.

Im yet another member of the Calgun diaspora. Was recommended Caguns by a coworker. Glad to see a competitive option that doesn’t constantly crash. Lol

Besides a short stint in LE, I have been recreationally shooting for over 25 years. Recently started attending a “for fun” 3-gun and IDPA-ish shoot monthly. I’m also an avid hunter. Also a history nerd with a taste for esoteric old guns. I’m really all over the place.

This should have been my first post... is my second .

Was directed here after finding Calguns was down (late to the party as usual). Was inactive online but my CCW process started moving forward again.

Grew up in SFV back in the day (70's and 80's kid). Lived abroad for a couple of decades (Denmark... please don't ask me about Greenland lol)... loved it but moved back to Calif in 18' after divorce (I'm also a motorcyclist, so no better place to live than Calif for that imho). Settled in the AV where my closest living family was/is located.

Don't have a big collection. Just a couple 9mm's at the moment for my CCW (XD-9 and a Hellcat).

Like many on this site, constantly having issues with the other site (same username) led me to caguns.net.
My name is Dennis and I live in Victorville CA, about 7 minutes away from Apple Valley Gun Club.
I'm retired so I spend a lot of time at AVGC volunteering (no paid staff) rebuilding the target frames and the occasional building/remodeling project.
Everywhere you look on the range, you can see my work. Because it is a member owned facility, I take pride in my part of ownership.
I also volunteer as a Pistol Coach now and then.
I Reload 9mm on my Dillon 750.
I enjoy shooting Pistol matches a couple times a month.
I'm heavily into 3D printing.
