Hello all! I’m new here, from the Southbay. My usual shooting spot is Burro Canyon out near Azusa.

I found this forum while looking up some others, was a little active on Reddit prior to GAFS being unalived.

Aloha everyone, happy that this community exists. Firearms, coffee, history, and philosophy enthusiast. Stable: Colt, Aero builds, SOLGW, Sionics, Zastava, WBP. some hunting long rifles and 22LR builds, and handguns (mostly Glocks), CZ, Walther, and a bunch of random parts waiting to find a home on a frankenbuild. ;)

Haven't been on a forum in a while since I gave up my other hobby. SoCal native, fairly new into guns but have been enjoying putting accessories on my handguns, changing out the buttstock and magazine tube on my shotgun and putting together my AR....and of course shooting.

Welcome. Couldn't imagine paying more than $400 for a gen 3 Glock, wow. I'll never understand people overpaying for the equivalent of a 1999 Camry

I mean, not much compared to the difference here. They have taxes/fees for size of car or size of engine so a 3.0L Camry gets a $30k fee added on just like a 3.0L Porsche does (I know these cars’ engines don’t have exactly the same displacement, just making a point). It’s WILD how expensive it is to buy and own a car there
