while i agree these guys are annoying losers - I also believe in picking and choosing my battles and ultimately id suggest you just carry on living your life and not feed into whatever those people are up too even if it does suck ass

Also, I'm an easy punching bag because my real name, website, email, and raw video are on here and everybody has their idea of what a lawyer is or should do in any situation. I personally would rather be an idealist than indifferent, so that informs my world view. I still have zero regrets, though of course I don't want to run into these whacked out nuts again. I'm not going to not shop at my favorite grocery store because of these jerks, so we'll see whether they ever come back.

its not that your cause isnt right or noble or just - but stepping back and avoiding the situation i dont believe is cowardly either



what these people are doing isnt right but lets say 💩 hits the fan with these people and you are involved I think it would be easy to argue that your (justified and righteous) insistence on repeatedly confronting these people could be seen as voluntary escalation and engagement - putting you in the position of the aggressor.


which is like their whole goal yknow, to create a situation thats technically legal for them to defend themselves. and how do you know they arent armed themselves?


you have better things to do with your life and better things to do with your time and people who love you; if youre going to continue to pursue legal retaliation or otherwise I would just advise you be smart and safe and make good decisions that dont endanger your life or put you in jail

Thanks, all-- this is helpful and I appreciate your feedback. I've been in touch with some LEOs in the area about this, and apparently one guy from this crew has been filming at the courthouse, also. The Sheriff's deputy they started filming is actually a super polite, unbelievably nice guy, and they don't even have him in the video segment-- but this deputy's partner apparently went into a rage over this, and of course that made it on the video. Will have to find that one. Anyway, I'll post the article back here when it comes out-- there's no indicated time frame.
 
I firmly believe in the need to exercise our rights, but I've never encountered or seen footage of a "1A auditor" who didn't come across as an insufferable edgelord. I doubt any of them really believe in what they're doing, they're just trolling for lulz, content, and views.
 
These so called "First Amendment Auditors" are anti-social click bait ass clowns and you are either part of the problem or part of the solution. I appreciate how the OP reacted and commend his pursuit of the matter.

For the folks that criticize his approach it would be interesting to learn how you might handle matters if your elderly grandmother was harassed or maybe even pepper sprayed by these click bait ass clowns. Yeah, my grandmother was the type who might have boldly engaged them and who knows what might have gone down.

That’s why this keeps happening. It works.

The only thing that actually kills it is when nothing happens.

Too many people letting these commies assault them and don't do anything because they're in a pack. Just like we saw in florida assaulting someone who may be armed might lead to someone getting shot. Just saying people should keep their hands to themselves. People besides commies have rights too.
 
back in my day a great method of getting back at folks you didn't like was to make a post on craiglist with their phone number saying you were giving something away (free wood always did the job)

Dude I 100% agree with you but my advice is that if you’re carrying, do not confront these idiots, walk away, do not engage, do not give them the content they’re looking for even if your autistic logical brain tells you you’re “in the right.”

A lot of these 1A auditor types are basically basement antagonists. They are f*ckin losers with no W2 job and nothing on the line, often living off family or assistance (Medicaid and food stamps) so there is no real consequence you can hit them with. Their info is already public so doxxing does nothing.

Then you’ve got the entitled "Karen" side who completely lose it on camera. They scream, threaten lawsuits and TROs, try to retaliate and just hand over content.

Both sides are unhinged.

One side pokes for reactions with nothing to lose, the other side melts down every time.

That’s the whole engine behind it.

I think us doxxing them is beneath us. This is woke Reddit sh*t.

Please read my comments in this thread. I already know all this. It was kind of a rhetorical question. The OP is dragging this on way longer than it needs to be.
