Requiring sign-in for those sections is the most effective tool we have. It takes a minute to register, it's free, and it keeps what happens here between actual members.

you jinxed it bro!It wasn't that, I just didn't want to jinx it.. . . .
Yep, it's his fault!you jinxed it bro!![]()
They have a big problem with guests.. In a way, i keep going cause it's from a technical level, I want to know what's wrong with it. In my line of work, solving these kinds of problems is fun for me...I just checked and was able to login, but cannot read email as it times me out of the site; been that way for months for me now.
Site was a little slow and membership online was down which is to be expected with the glitches still present.
I was just curious. I like this site TBH, but I wish Calguns nothing but the best of luck in getting back on it's feet. They have a big problem with guests.. Not for me!Still down...
Yes, the number of reported quests compared to members seems way out of wack. I have no knowledge or experience in websites, but it seems that it should not be that difficult to prioritize member interactions, making quests wait until all member interactions have taken place. They have a big problem with guests.. It's ok... They have a long road ahead of them. They're doing what they can to be territorial. If they could, they'd pee on the server to mark their territory and assert dominance.Gateway timeout earlier today..
After seeing that some of the same old blowhards were generalizing participants of this forum in a negative manner, it is really no loss IMO. If they have a beef with the raccoon, they can take that up with him.
It's good for the moderators to listen to their constituents. It's good their admins are coming back too. They need to do that with us, we don't need to reciprocate.I scanned through the CGN market place last night. First 3 pages seem to be alive. Page 4 and higher you get into "sold" territory.
Most of the topic specific sub forum do not appear to be updated, there little to no traffic.
We're in 2025 (almost), it's an unacceptable performance level.
They did block the link I posted earlier on page 2. I suppose they don't want advertisement for another website in their announcement segment![]()
Do not forget the fist rule of Italian driving -Sometimes, I have to tell myself I have to stop looking back and step on the gas.

Don't you think if that were the case the owner would at least say something?I wonder if the problem with CalGuns is all the guests overloading the server. It might be part of an ongoing attack on CalGuns.
Moderators to my knowledge didn’t get to those positions by election. They operate solely at the pleasure of the site owner, who can terminate their service at will. If those who use the forums don’t like what the mods do, they can either leave, or complain to the owner(s). If enough users don’t like it, the site may eventually collapse, unless the owner funds it by themself. It's good for the moderators to listen to their constituents. Given Kes’ history of not keeping his users informed, I doubt it.Don't you think if that were the case the owner would at least say something?
Yep, it's his fault!
