The new double stack 1000$ kimber 1911 is a much more interesting announcement than a 3800 dollar CCW gun. There's a chance kimber could submit their double stacks to the roster.

well for a few years now shot show has been much less of a new product announcement as with social media these days theres no need to hold your new product until the show. You get it out there ASAP and keep the buzz going.

Good point.

And on second thought, maybe I don’t mind the infrequency of new releases. That way the firearm industry isn’t like the cell phone industry with a new gen of phone released every 9 months with marginal improvement.

Being in California it's almost better to just not know about new releases and then maybe in a couple years we can get 10% of them on roster
