That in itself is changing the way, the firearm mechanisms work, which is considered manufacturing if you just use your brain on how they would think I’ve taken into consideration how they would try to push it on you because I know how the government is

Only gun in this type of configuration I would’ve consider really buying is the juggernaut tactical AR nine pistol you atleast have the approval on the roster being safe. It’s mag locked and all that so it avoids assault weapon bans, and you are not changing any parts simply removing a magazine block. The gun mechanisms, all work originally from factory. Not an exempt. But a approved firearm.

I dropped over $1k on freedom week. That was a clear cut injunction. SSE, not so much

Other considerations, there are a lot of good handguns on the roster and there are always PPT options, neither exist with standard capacity magazines.

I’m actually probably going to buy a SSE gun. Either the JT or the Franklin and just leave them as-is in my safe. At the very least it will allow me to accumulate pistol uppers and avoid federal constructive possession.

I really want to build a DL-44 clone. I have a MG-81 flash hider, a correct-ish scope and mount.. and some other parts.

I have my eye on one of these:

Minimal states it still hold legal argument I don’t like possibilities just my personal decision
Remember it’s not law you are correct but more a ban or regulation that’s why it’s a misdemeanor not a felony

You're the second person to say this and it makes 0 sense. There have been hundreds, if not thousands, of SSEs converted to semi-auto transferred in California. The CADOJ has not prosecuted any of them.

How exactly would one "volunteer" to be the test case?

Just because you cant understand something doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense.
