Stacatto P4 made the roster

If anyone has any questions about this, let me know, I'll do my best to answer what I can!
First of all, big props to bringing the gun to the CA market.

I noticed on the website it says:
The California Compliant model is equipped with a magazine release disconnect which prevents the trigger from being pulled when the magazine is out of the gun. This cannot be reversed, but can be configured for right or left hand shooters.
Does this mean there really is no way to remove the mag disconnect and that it's integral to something, or is this more of a legal disclaimer needed to appease the CADOJ?

@Staccato_Actual well this is a step in the right direction as a company. I refused to own one until now.

Who is this for? The HD appeals to essentially 3 people from what I can tell:
  • Poors who are excited by the thought of Glock mags in a 2011. Who aren't going to actually buy it anyway.
  • Haters who claim that Staccato guns aren't duty guns because they aren't drop safe. They weren't going to buy it anyway.
  • LE agencies that they have lined up to buy the thing, but now have to compete with the COA Glocks at a fraction of the price.
$2500 before taxes and fees is a real stretch IMO. Either way I'm glad there are more options here and middle fingers up to the LEO who scalp the rest of us.

That's a great point. Individual Officer pricing on a G45 COA is $845. That's with three (3) mags. I imagine that Agency pricing is less.

This is definitely not my preferred model, don’t even want it. The lack of commonality with an actual 2011 makes it less than desirable to ME. Let’s go P or even C2/XC.

Yep, one benefit is any 2011 on the roster lowers the demand, and ideally the price for off roster 2011's.

Ive never seen anyone so rustled that a high quality pistol was added to the roster. Sheesh.
Rustled? Look in the mirror. My comment apparently triggered you.

BTW, my comment has nothing to do with whether or not its good that its on the roster. That goes without saying.

My comment is about the value given the high price. This opinion is shared by many in the 2A community outside of CA where there is no roster to contend with.

But hey go ahead and cast stones spinning whatever I post into logical fallacies to make yourself feel superior.

Says the guy crying about the price of a gun he supposedly doesnt want. Makes sense.

If anyone is crying. Its you crying about my OPINION. Dont like it? Fine. But you arent fooling anyone. My opinion is valid and very common. I stand by it. Sorry if you have a problem with it. Dont know what else to tell you. Im not going to ask for your approval before I express opinions. Sorry, not gonna happen.
