That's good that they honor an existing lock. With other shops, one might have to prove that the lock is less than 30 days old, with receipts.

I didn’t. First PPT for me and assumed all original safety features included in box would’ve sufficed. Also asked if I needed to bring anything with me as the buyer when making the appointment and Turner’s associate said no. Now I know better.

BEST IMHO
GUNS LA super fast PPT and DROS, friendly and charge you 0.01$ for the lock. No fees and always ask if you need anything else and actively trying to build a friendship with you.

Worst IMHO
OnTarget charges a credit card fee and a $7.99 lock fee even if you provide a lock.

Which 2A Zone? 2A Zone Riverside is fast and will take Zelle to avoid card fees. Plus, they let you exchange cash in store, the safest option for both parties. Lots of inventory on-hand and they do SSE firearms purchases such as Atlas, Platypus, and others.

It's funny how many people know about this place. The first time I went I thought "NO WAY. Is my gun even going to be here in 10 days?" It's in this guy's parents garage. In the middle of my PPT his mom walks in with a sandwich and chips on a plate for him.

These guys are great. Nothing but positives in my experience and my heart would melt seeing someone's mom bring lunch in...

Cash-only is a deal breaker for me. Have they not heard of Zelle to avoid card fees? I avoid cash-only businesses generally. It's 2026 and I don't carry cash.

Turner's and Ammo Bros likes to play the game of Friends and Family rules others mentality. As in Friends, Family, LE, and Ex-employees gets better treatment than rest of CA.

Ammo bros santa ana did this until they have been downgraded to ammo bros westminster. Actually R66 did it to Ammobros Santa Ana lol.

We charge 47.19 for ppts as long as there is a OEM lock new in package. Out of state transfer we charge 60 plus taxes and fees for the transfer and include a lock in the transfer fee if you don't have one.

Manzano Munitions , I can attest to, was great. $47.19 on the dot with Zelle.

After having experienced living in a free state (NV, TX), it was nice to go to a Bay Area place where I was treated cordially.

I won’t name names but the same cannot be said for other spots I’ve gone to.

I don't know about this. I've never DROS'd more than one gun at a time. Not saying you're wrong but it's not something I've encountered or verified.
