First time CCW holder looking for a belt, any recommendations?

KORE for me! I got one nylon and two dress belts. I mainly wear the nylon and have the dress belts for those occasions one is needed.

Been wearing them for over two years and still stiff and awesome. The ratchet adjustment is great.

Should I do leather or Carbon Fiber Kore? I believe leather has more flex supports up to 4 lbs and the carbon 6 lbs... Will be carrying my p365 appendix and g27 same.

Another vote for the Tenicor Zero belt. More than enough for a EDC and works really good as an everyday belt even if you aren't carrying.
The trouble is waiting for Tenicor Zero to restock. Waited 4 weeks for the latest restock email notification, black belts all sold out within an hour 😅

Yeah when I got that email I jumped on getting the black version. I've been wearing the tan one for a couples of months and I love mine.

Getting my permit soon and I am having a hard time choosing a ccw belt, planning to carry my p365 IWB. So many on the market that it is very confusing... Too stiff, not stiff enough, etc.... I never usually wear belts so this will be a whole new experience for me.

Any suggestions?

On a budget as well, don't care to break the bank.
I use “Hanks Belts.”

I think I wlll go with the Kore... Should I do the leather or nylon? Just want one belt... Which one is more comfortable?
I have both. Their leather looks great, I started wearing it every day even when I'm not carrying. I use the nylon when I'm shootin 💩 in the desert and don't care if it gets dirty or whatever.

I went with a Hank's belt, with sale and coupon it came out to about 55 plus tax. Very happy so far, warranty is tough to beat. They unfortunately raised their prices about 15% just before the holidays, and the current promo is oniy 20% off. So I'd wait for a better promo if you can.
Blue alpha is great for everyday. Not to stiff and flexible. Kore essentials for dress.
Both around $50

I really like my nex belt. I use the kore aswell. I was recommended the Hunter Constantine belt I will be checking it out supposedly it’s the most comfortable out of them all.. we will find out

Probably not a popular suggestion, but 5.11's basic 1.75" tactical belt. I have used this with full-size all steel 1911s (40 oz), S&W Model 64 4" (about 40 oz), and currently a Springfield Hellcat and Hellcat Pro. I have seen some guys carrying a full size 1911 with this belt in addition to a couple spare mags and extra equipment hanging off the belt and it held up just fine.

I used one of these belts for 4 years, until it was lost and I had to replace it. I still use the same replacement belt to this day, which has been another 1.5 years of daily use, for a total of 5.5 years of experience with this belt. A bit of cosmetic wear but just as easy to use and functional as day 1.

The belt is about $27 right now on Amazon.

I’ve moved on from my KORE belt to the Hunter Constantine AYCHE belt. It’s very nice having the stretch you need when wearing the rig all day easy to adjust once you set the size you desire. It’s on the pricey side but they sometimes have blem sales that’ll be like 85/90 dollars

Tenicor Zero is great. They make a heavier version but the zero is super lowprofile and comfortable.
If you want minimal footprint and comfort and can use as a non carry belt I highly recommend it, also it wont bend on itself even with a heavy load (10lbs). I imagine the thicker version is more robust.

If you carry appendix I recommend blue alpha gear low profile edc. It doesn’t have a large buckle so when you move it to the side, I don’t feel discomfort when sitting down and it’s only $43. Plus it doesn’t have metal so it’s TSA friendly. It works for strong side carry as well, but for that I prefer Kore essentials. It has a ratcheting buckle and you cut to size. Those are about $60.

I have the Kore, Tenicor zero, Enigma, and Constantine Carry.

Normal rotation for beltless carry is the Constantine Carry. If I need a belt I use the Tenicor zero.

Occasionally I'll use a ratcheting belt, but still glad I have it just in case.
