Staccato coming to Ca.

Well... that's the capitalist way... and the good thing is... your not forced to buy anything at a perceived gouging price.. and the opposite needs to be looked at as well when your selling something at a fair price and lowballers make you a ridiculous low offer...
There is a difference between capitalism and greed. I consider the firearm community a brotherhood. We need to protect our rights and stick together as firearm enthusiast. Like I said, make a profit, that's okay, but have some love and consideration for our brethren. And we aren't a true capitalist country. The federal government subsidizes many of our goods.

Especially not in California. The private sellers who are jacking up prices are exploiting what is basically a loophole created by California’s misguided roster laws. It’s not a free market at all. Like You said I have no problem paying a little extra, they should make a bit for doing the work but some of the prices that get posted are insane.

And then in the old site you see six months of the guy bumping his own thread every day without any responses and he doesn’t change the price..

so....all the momentum seems to indicate that the HD will come to CA. which is a full size pistol Ala the "P". it'll be something like 3200-3500 out the door. maybe the DLC more like 3800. so....who wants to pay 4k for a "off roster" P now?

Can’t wait. Before seeing this thread I was almost ready to pull the trigger on a local Staccato P, yes, ready to pay $4000 to $4500. Now I am going to have to wait again, but at the end of the the wait will be worth it.

Was talking to an FFL owner a couple weeks ago who said his Staccato rep told him not to expect the CA roster version until 2026. So many different rumors out there though, so who knows what the actual timeline is? Maybe/hopefully they’re just setting low expectations and will surprise everyone later this year.
