News 43x CA Edition on Roster

Latest news
I’m starting to suspect this is just a regular slim line 43X with a more established LCI and MD. Not a new generation.

Buying a used 43x for more than $600 = catching a falling knife.
When picking a pistol to stick in my pants to defend my life with it’s gonna be a Glock, every time. So I don’t care if it’s $600 or $2000, I’m picking it over everything else.

Now extending beyond my CCW, be it a Range toy, competition blaster, fidget spinner, show and tell piece, that’s a different story entirely.

Edit… p10 and echelon still rock.. definitely would

Did the glock marketing team decide to kick off with the 43X? Or I wonder if it was the easiest to engineer for compliance?

I wish they kicked off with something better, like the G45...maybe even G17/G47.

A CCW size gun won't appeal to the masses. Hell, they could have started with the G19..that would be sales galore.

I have no interest in the 43X personally, especially in this day and age. There are too many other choices in that segment.

Come on glock. You guys were literally printing money making the gen 3 guns here. Use some of that fortune to R&D us a better ca compliant selection. Speed it up. Every day of lag time is time that a competitor takes up a gun sale. Maybe they don't care that much. Being late to the market I like not even wanting to be there.

Feast your eyes gentleman!

I wonder what they did with the trigger to get it to pass? Hopefully it still a Glock inside.

All the poor 43x's listed at 3-4x retail got real sad just now.

NO THANK YOU!!! I will absolutely never take any risks on my life with any (top california compliant LCI locations) (EXTRA FAILURE POINT GARBAGE LCI) Always stick to the standard and never trust the california compliant models. I have seen plenty of failures . NO THANK YOU!!!

Glock 43X CA (California Compliant) model, the specialized California Department of Justice (DOJ) required Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI) is located on the top of the slide,
Unlike standard, factory Glock models where the extractor claw acts as a subtle visual/tactile indicator, the CA-compliant model features a prominent, mechanical indicator on top of the slide to meet strict state-mandated safety visibility guidelines
obtrusive indicator.
• The Problem: This top-mounted, spring-loaded arm physically pushes down on the rim of the chambered casing. Heavy carbon fouling, debris, or a stiff factory LCI spring creating excessive friction. This drag slows down the slide's cycling speed or prevents a fresh round from fully sliding up under the extractor claw, causing failures to battery (the slide not closing all the way).

Bro take a deep breath and chill the F- out. No one even knows how the LCI is designed it may very well be on the extractor.

My California compliant VP9SK has run a little over 1000 rounds flawlessly, including my CCW training and qualification. I absolutely trust my life with it
