You can only PPT it at a dealer who doesn't know what it is. This also gives a bad look to this forum. Also when you find a shop who doesn't know if they are audited the gun will be seized and the consumer is again going to complain that the law was not fully explained to him.

Keep in mind the P211 in factory form is not different that having a non compliant Knights SR-15. Both are AW's in CA eyes. Do you want people selling completely illegal guns on this sight? Trying to turn it into silk road?

No they ar4e threaded. Had a customer trying to PPT one the other day saying it was permanent and I took it apart to show him its not and threaded.

Compensators are not banned but usual attachment is thread or lugged both of which usually extended past the slide and accept a suppressor. Negated by designs like ramjet. Possibly cross canceled by new suppressor design

Take a look at the latest version of the agency arms noc(over price garbage)
They painstakingly jumped through hoops to ensure their threaded attachment method did not extend past the slide.

They dont want a flash hider on your pistol regardless of attachment method.

A pretty common config for the P365 has the regular 365x slide with the macro grip module and a radian. Overall the size ends up being the same length as the XMacro when its done. It results in the rail extending past the slide.

Hadn't seen that Agency gun before....$4K. Just wow.

If the DOJ call it a lug then it’s a lug and they’ll say it’s an AW. The DOJ doesn’t work on our logic or reasoning. You and I don’t have the funds to get tied up in court with the DOJ.

The Ramjet is safe for now but owners should see that the snowball is rolling down hill coming their way.
 
What’s funny about the ramjets accepting the cans that radian is apparently making is the DOJ has to know the process to get a suppressor legally which is impossible in CA so what exactly are they worried about? I’m genuinely curious

you could make the same argument for threaded barrels and arrive at the same conclusion.

Saw these the other day. The GT4 is strangely compelling. The GTO’s comp was a real draw—with a steel comp a pin and weld should do the trick.

Ya these are almost certainly getting rostered. Or at least one of them.

I don't understand the obsession with needing a comp on a 40+ oz gun shooting 9mm, if you are recoil sensitive just shoot 22 lr. These are range toys not self defense weapons.

I personally do not like comps BUT there is an obvious and measurable advantage in running one assuming it does not affect reliability. Major 9mm is no joke out of a standard gun. Comped 9mm +p also has advantages and gains. It has very little to do with perceived recoil. It has a lot to do with muzzleflip, shot to shot splits etc. If you dont participate in the disciplines that measure such things then a comp probably does not matter to you. Most people cant shoot a standard pistol to its fullest potential and probably dont need a comp but some people can absolutely take full advantage of them and it has nothing to do with being recoil sensitive.

This is the reason I sold my shadow systems cr920xp. Didn’t want to risk it
